Back in the ‘60s and ‘70s, my dad and his friends, who all had fast cars, would just simply install them backwards and blow the glass out, on purpose.

I did the drums on my ‘07 Cobalt many years back now (probably a decade, if I were to guess) and I do not recall any brightly colored wheel cylinders...likewise when I did the drums on my ‘98 Cavalier (3-4 years more recently).

It’s like trying to pet a goddamn cat.

Yup - at this point, plug-ins make the most sense. My ‘17 Volt does ~70 miles in the summer (assuming I don’t get on the freeway, which, back when driving to/from work was a thing, I rarely did), and I basically never need to use gas. That said - if I need to drive somewhere far...fire the engine up (set to Hold) on

My buddy in high school had a ‘94 Ford Probe SE with a five-speed, so he was happy to let a few of us learn how to drive stick after school (since we were all on the school’s FIRST team, we all were there for hours after school every day).

Both cars have ABS disc brakes up front and drum brakes in back at all trim levels, which irks me in 2020.

This was one of my favorite movies to watch again and again on VHS (recorded off TV, of course) as a kid - but I have not seen it in easily 25 years.

Motorola skipped adding NFC to any of the less expensive Moto G handsets.

I live in Michigan (so, this mainly relates to winter and snow), so it’s a toss-up between my lowered, supercharged Cobalt (LT) on UHP all-seasons (at least they were 195/60R15s) and my first car, an ‘86 IROC, also on all-seasons.

But they might catch autism!

Them’s some good pics...

My non-Ti 1080 has still been doing well (at 1080p, which likely helps), but I feel like I’ll be needing to upgrade my CPU before my video card.

Agreed - I have no intention of paying for Discovery+, unless they try and screw us out of shows we currently watch on cable, by moving them to Discovery+.

We have cable, so we have all of the channels included, and thus we don’t need this.

Probably nothing as dire as many others will post here, but I do remember getting about a foot of snow overnight. Our street was always one of the last ones to get plowed, so I don’t think it was until the following day where it finally was plowed.

That was one of the things that really stood out to me as “WTF?”.

2021 is finally going to be the year society collectively challenges the Elon Musk myth.

I can’t wait for the completely unrelated increase to fees this year.

The delicious Record Monza exhaust that the Abarths eventually got...after FCA realized that trying to literally screw Americans out of the true Abarth was a very, very stupid idea.

My ‘98 Cavalier had 258,000 miles on it, and probably would have been right around 300,000 miles had I not tested it against a fire hydrant during a torrential downpour three and a half years ago. The fire hydrant lost - but the Cav suffered mortal wounds.
