I get the sense that they though that they killed the dragon with Bronn firing the arrows at the dragon. Probably thinking “Hey one dragon is missing, we killed it.” Someone is in for a rude awaking at some point.

What he said made sense considering the people watching. Making a personal threat in front of the queen and her guard would have been stupid.
The Theon storyline could be useful in another way. He and those men discover that Euron isn’t sailing home, but instead of Essos. Does he follow Euron (assuming he literally has Yara with him)?
Yes. It is different.
Um. Its only clunky if you’re brain dead and completely forget the context in which the line was spoken.
If they make it that far south, Westeros is as good as depopulated. They’d basically have to start the kingdom from scratch. Only Dorne would survive with its culture intact, and they’d probably go independent, while everything north of the Crown Lands would be dead and deserted.
Yeah, them harping on the population of KL struck me too. I think that either the white walkers will take the city, or the heroes will make a stand at KL because they know what happens if the city is lost.
It needs to at least puncture skin I think, otherwise you could hit them with a club of it.
The Knights of the Vale were present at his trial. Their commander refused to help him after it became clear that he killed both Jon and Lysa Arryen.... Not many sympathies there, anymore I assume.
Pretty sure the red keep isnt going to survive either the ice dragons or the other two...
I love how there are people out here today bitching about how the show shouldn’t have to spell everything out for the viewers, but then we have people that miss completely obvious things like this...
I think that the heroes will need to pull back from Winterfell to Dragonstone (island) where they can be “safe” from the majority of the witewalkers and use the dragons as defense against the ice-dragon. In the meantime the whitewalkers will take over kings landing. They made a pretty big point last episode that the…
I mean, really? I 100% read it as...”you know who is coming for you, you’ve always known. and that person is me”
...a huge obsidian arrow to shoot a zombie dragon down with...
I think the whole “Can Viserion be killed?” question can be answered with a “Why did they introduce that stupid giant crossbow that couldn’t possibly kill a dragon with a giant wooden bolt, but could possibly do some serious damage to an undead ice dragon with a dragon glass bolt?” question.
1 - Tormund and Beric are alive. They didn’t run down, they ran along the wall. We see them get thrown off their feet as it comes down.
Somewhere outlandish I’m sure.
I’ve seen your question mentioned multiple times across different recaps. To me, it seems pretty obvious he’s talking about himself - that The Hound will be the one to fight The Mountain and end his story. We know they hate each other and he’s made it his mission to end his brother.
Really, the biggest question for me is where the hell is Edmure Tully???
Who still sit on the throne?
