Just Right

False equivalence. If a club serves somebody underage or somebody already intoxicated, they can get into very big trouble. Most importantly, there is decades of people understanding that rule. There isn’t much penalty for not enforcing mask guidelines and some really stupid states (Hi, Florida!) are doing there best

Mr. Hughes already pointed out how that would look from an employee’s perspective:

“Yes, I am totally vaccinated. And this second ticket is for my totally hot Canadian girlfriend who will be joining me once the lights dim.”

Black Lightning is great! Although I admit I dropped off after the first season because it’s a heavy show with heavy, often tragic themes and I was already starting to lean into the fun, silver agey jazz of Legends.

Yes, but none of the governments the US toppled here were ever friendly to the USSR. In fact, most of the governments they toppled across Latin America weren’t friendly for the USSR except for Chile’s. They were just friendlier to our own interests than usual.

RIP Midwest Express and your delicious baked in-air cookies.

I’m enjoying Supergirl and Batwoman, although the latter pissed me the fuck off. I’m watching Legends until the gotdamn wheels fall off because I love that ragtag bunch of misfits so much.

I’m sticking with Supergirl till the end cause it’s just a few more episodes to go and it’s been somewhat more fun - if, still, rather in the Berlanti “are we having fun yet?” kind of way.

I just wanted to announce to anyone who bothers to read this that of this week I finally dropped this fucking show from my rotation. Judging by this week’s score, it was a good idea. Honestly, I didn’t know why I tortured myself with it for so many years. I heard it’s a common occurrence, to hatewatch this show. I

Mick’s line as they fly away in the S1 finale: “Every time they do that, I get hungry for chicken.”

From a recent interview she did with Stephen Amell, Caity Lotz was unhappy to be at the bottom of the callsheet during s1 and lower billed than actors playing less prominent DC show characters. But instead of quitting the show she resolved to show up and make everyone see what she knew she could do. I would say it was

I love this show so much. I don’t object to any of the episodes named. Here I Go Again & The One Where We’re Trapped on TV are particular favorites, probably not coincidentally because they are crucial Zari episodes.

I think the show started becoming great when it dumped the elements from s1 that didn’t work, started taking itself less seriously, and perhaps most crucially, when Sara Lance became the captain & Caity Lotz  essentially became the star of the show (at their Comic Con panels she started getting the center seat the

My favorite moment from s1 was Sara derisively referring to Kendra as “Big Bird” (after she screwed up a mission)

I think my mother was the only person who liked the Hawkpeople, and she only liked the way they swooped. Which is fair, who doesn’t like a good swoop.

Wet Hot American Bummer is especially impressive because the original script had a sizable role for Nick Zano, which had to be very hastily rewritten when his daughter was born with surgery-requiring complications. It’s so seamless you’d never know this was an issue.

I used to be a barista, and I can’t believe how far the show has come in all this time!

Legends Of Tomorrow is one of the best shows on television. It also once featured a season-long storyline with a character getting his nipple bitten off by a unicorn, then later having his nipple restored but possessed by a demon from the time it spent in hell, and then using the possessed nipple to hypnotize people

I don’t know if you get to have that reaction as you wait for your zombie police show where the medical examiner helps solve crimes by eating the victims’ brains.
