For the sake of discussion, and to make sure I understand the maths correctly....

The car is on instagram it looks like the owner took care of it
I’m debating whether to augment my self-care routine by clicking the 24" of Taboola links at the bottom of Jalopnik.
Yeah, the comments in here are pretty harsh. People act like driving a car hard will immediately make the engine explode. You can treat cars pretty bad and they’ll still be serviceable. You wouldn’t believe the beaters you see that have been flogged for 200k+ miles, blow blue smoke, but still keep chugging. I can…
And don’t forget, Jennifer Connelly. NEVER forget Jennifer Connelly.
No 17-18 year old should do it, but it happens nonetheless. Some high school kid looking to deliver pizzas in “style” will test drive it and they probably won’t notice any wonky warning signs because it’ll be their first car. And they will absolutely pick this thing up. And probably regret it when the obvious happens.
Say you are a 16 year old, you have some part time job cash saved up, and want to fiddle with mods and tunes instead of driving the family hand me down. This is cheap and should be fun enough to drive and mess with for this low price, and modern enough to be relatively safe and pack modern features. Fvck it, NP.
I think movie theaters need to adapt and change. Stagnation leads to death. How exactly should they change? Fuck if I know. They don’t pay me to fix their shit so I’m not gonna waste time contemplating it.
Nobody ever lost a dollar by underestimating the taste of the American public.
The 11 degrees does not refer to the angle of the V but rather the valve overlap (contrasted to its predecessor’s 43° overlap). The engine is still very much a 90° V-twin (L-twin in Ducati parlance).
Follow up?
“And while I’m not totally sure why American thinks doing a handful of test flights will be persuasive to the public — airplanes need to be consistently safe for thousands and thousands of hours in the air, not just a few flights for press and employees”
Erik’s whole shtick is underinformed sarcasm and negativity. There’s a valid story here about the 737 MAX returning to flying and earning back trust from fliers, but he instead decided to just kind of imply it’s still dangerous.
You’re “guessing”? Well, this being “Jalopnik” and not “Boat maintenance daily”, yes, you’d think that we’re “new to the world of large ship maintenance”.
On the other hand, it appears that you felt the need to inform of us your vast experience at cutting through hulls to replace marine engines. You’ve accomplished…
That’s more complex. This is a fluid check.
