I enjoy the unspoken joke of a guy who looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger going through life pretending to be an unassuming software salesman and everyone just buys it.

This is the only reply for this thread.
Reading that the Tesla driver had “liability only” insurance on a presumably expensive newer car, leads me to believe the guy’s a flaming idiot, which also highly correlates with him stepping on the wrong pedal and blaming the car for malfunctioning.
Another example. Self driving at any level is not ready.
The impact accidentally activated the code that makes it flee the scene if it kills a kid. In normal circumstances, the car would also try to persuade the driver by saying “oh no oh no not again I can’t go back to jail.”
We now live in a lawless society where machines made by a fascist can’t be controlled and try to kill us. Happy Monday.
Jim Carrey’s spoof of McConaughey’s Lincoln commercials were fantastic. Both hold a special place, certainly.
Favorite celebrity car commercial?
Since many of the posters here (me included) are often criticizing the writing on the site, it’s worth saying -- this review is very well written.
They shouldn’t. But they did, and do. All one can do is not subsidize it or give it eyeballs.
I think it’s less “they shouldn’t allow him to say those (woke) things!” and more “Netflix/Spotify shouldn’t be paying a man money who’s platforming Alex Jones and has been broadcasting demonstrably false and harmful antivax info for years”.
Just guessing here, but I’d imagine a few days of the CEO’s pay + bonuses would easily fund the band for a full year.

And I often see it said that he’s the worst actor of the main four... But he is really funny playing “Jerry…
This right-wing shift happens to like 87% of male comedians past age 50.
A car that says, “Whoa! The driver’s not doing what they’re supposed to. They might be asleep or unconscious.” and flipped on the hazard lights while slowing the car and moving it off the road as it blasted noise in the passenger compartment, seems like the ideal solution to me.
Have you MET the average human?
Hmmm, maybe it has something to do with its name and how it’s marketed...
I side with neither, an FSD Tesla and a Tesla FSD user are a match made in heaven, the car is too stupid to trust and the driver is stupid enough to trust the FSD.
There is plenty of fault to go around here. You can’t call something “Full Self-Driving” that can’t see flashing crossing lights and a damned TRAIN across the road. And the driver is a complete and utter moron for not immediately taking control. My guess is that they were not really paying attention, because for dammed…
