After looking it up, I’m disappointed that C8 variant didn’t have two parallel flat-12's shoehorned into the back. Seems like something Spyker would have tried if they had the money.

Since i sense some sarcasm, Im gonna state that I dont support what he did. My point was just that the only experience I have with DUI justice is different than what was stated above

His license was revoked for a time, cant remember exactly but it was less than a month. No ignition interlock, he only mentioned the one court appearance, dont know if he just didnt have to be there for the others or not, and he was on/off work that season so he had no issues there.

Didnt suck for him i guess . first offense, didnt cause harm to anyone, at the limit as opposed to double it

Said above, im not familiar with California rules and such, friend of mine in Kansas basically took a class, wore a suit to court, and got a few months probation and less than a thousand dollar fine.

Fair point, im not familiar with California DUI rules

DUI + court fees to get out of jailtime: ~$10k

If this was made into a movie, it would need a lot of dramatic license to not be one big cliche

Got us all to click didnt it. So a win for them

*surprised pikachu*

Just wait until they strip it down to be a 4 cyl ecoboost with 14" wheels, no bed, 2wd, no carpets, no radio, and no warranty.

You’d think theyd be able to do that but the bean counters come up with the brilliant marketing that the only way to get essential yet small options is to include it in a 10 grand option package. The days of being able to choose exactly what options you want or need are long gone, killed by packages with exciting

“Heres the NEW 2026 Ford F-150, starting at just $19,999!”

Problem with weight is that modern safety standards require a lot of metal. Attempts to remove any significant amount of that metal makes a car expensive. Hard to make a cheap car light without making it feel cheap, and nobody wants to be in a car that feels cheap.

My grandfather collected some odd cars, including some model Ts and a model A. He gifted my mother a 1961 Chrysler Imperial leBaron that is just coolest darn thing rolling (it had a squircle steering wheel and a push button transmission!) My favorite of his cars was a 1931 Marmon Sixteen Victoria, a gigantic gangster

Holy shitballs that is a gorgeous color. Audi is always great with their blues but this is a whole new level.

yeah, i checked again and different companies were using the unit TEU but defined it completely differently ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Interesting, the numbers i looked up were TEU = twenty foot containers and the standard weight of those is 53k. It was all very quick google-fu. Largest ship i saw had max tonnage of cargo is 191k Tons and that was made after the first article i read was written. Failure to fact check on my part.

F1 uses that to successfully make cars go faster. Sucks up waste heat and turns it into electricity for the ERS system
