Your attitude is why Jalopnik is the way that it is now. No fun, disdainful, snarky, and downright elitist. No actual review or opinion other than “this thing that people like, well it sucks, because I said so”.

I second this sentiment. Nothing they do is new, but that doesn’t mean it’s not enjoyable. If I was a millionaire with a blank check to make car films with my friends, I’d keep doing it too.

They are doing a victory lap on life - while they can all still walk and think straight. I am all for it. It may be old hat, but its always fun to watch

Yeah, me too- That’s a ton of IP to leave on the table.

I sure hope this hummer too goes the way of the old hummer.

Everyone that knows cars - “Minivans are horrible, would never own one.”

I kind of wish The Root had a couple activist writers left so we could read their rebuttal to this piece...

I’d also like to add to that a bid for a Maverick ST. Make it the only sport-truck on the market.

It’s kind of weird either way. If they just want their name on the car, they could do an Alfa Romeo and just buy naming rights. So presumably they want to buy it for investment purposes, but then why is it ‘Audi’ involved at all and not just VW? So maybe VW wants it as an asset, and is willing to put Audi’s name on it

Track limits seems so easy to clean up.  Paint a fucking line; if all tires cross it, you are beyond track limits.  None of this, “Well, on this corner, it’s the curbing, and this one it’s the blue area, and this one it’s the green area, and this one you can’t even touch the curbs, and on the first lap the track

Now this, I can get behind.

Presumably the court felt that the driver was impaired due to slipping below the usual Floridian BAC?

“The vast majority of cops are bastards but some are OK.”

Very unlikely, unfortunately. Officially their reserves are Vandoorne and de Vries (from Mercedes), or di Resta... but “coincidentally” today they also agreed a deal whereby they “could” (i.e. will) borrow Piastri as a reserve.

It’s actually Vandoorne and de Vries. They share with Mercedes.

I’m going to miss you, Rory.

This is so sweet! Much love to you (and Rory!)

Kia dealers in the US aren’t selling cars. They’re selling financing, which is a whole different ball game.

I dunno? All I heard was this
