Unless you tried FF or Chrome on the same sites, it may not be IE that was the culprit. There are a lot of poorly optimized business suites that involve IE, possibly against its wishes. ;)

Sadly, IE11 is pretty quick without unnecessary bells and whistles and it gets crucified for not having ALL THE EXTENSIONS + PLUGINS as the competition.

Can't you do that in Windows 8.1, already? I could swear I could when I attached a USB receiver to my PC.

Actually, stealing your phone would have a decent chance of also getting the owner's fingerprints, a good one at that, off the phone. It is the thing that gets touched more often than not.

It depends on which TV and which game you're playing. Twitch shooters, like COD, definitely benefit from monitors. 5ms refresh rate monitors > 400ms TVs... (sadly.)
