Excellent advice. Where it is garaged is about 600 feet above sea level on a tall hill outside the flood zones of that particular part of the state.

Military is the correct answer. I have a 1 year remote assignment ahead of me, then an unaccompanied extended long tour for the following 3 years.
It’s literally almost perfect for me. The only thing it lacks that would make me fork over the dough is the manual transmission. Although $9K seems high, it also seems like a low entry price for a vehicle that will last me 30-40 years easy.
Karma Police, arrest this man he ruins good jeeps...
Edited. Not sure if it worked this time. Kinja can eat my ass.
My Grand Wagoneer disagrees with you. DT rescued it from a field in Ohio, replaced the ignition switch, most of the notorious Motorcraft ignition components, got it running, gave it functioning front brakes, and turned it from a biohazard to a drivable project. Now it is a running, driving, garage kept beast with a…
James May: “BIG NEWS!! THE DACIA DUSTER!!”
“There are renders of a four-door model, called the Superwolf.”
Happy Birthday DT. I just turned 35 on Monday. Let me know if you plan on passing through Italy in the next 30-45 days. After that, I am off to remote assignment.
This was my first thought when I saw the new KIA logo as well.
I never understood how someone could make that mistake in a Chrysler. SInce the mid 90s, on the back of the steering wheel are buttons. on the right side, the buttons on the top and bottom control volume up and down. The center button controls modes. On the left side, the up and down buttons control radio station…
I love the tiny trashcan on the XC40. I don’t have one of them sadly, but my solution for my 07' XC90 is to hang a bag between the lumbar adjusters for the front seats. This makes for a convenient trash bag for both front seats and the second row. My car is not equipped with the 3rd row, so I don’t need to worry about…
I’m on the same page. I have an idea that could potentially give us the best of both worlds. What if they kept the floating tablet style head units, but made them retractable into the dashboard with something like a 2-3" bar of the screen left on the top to show some information. Most of what you see on it is in the…
I wish they would revive the Checker Marathon. You go to London, you know the Iconic London taxi. You go to India, and a Hindustan Ambassador picks you up. We should revive the Checker with a similar body to what they had in the 1960s, but on a modern drive train. It could at minimum become the Iconic NYC taxi again.
It took me a good few minutes to realize it was edited at all.
NP. Low buy in, cheap to run, cheap to fix.
That’s what I figured you meant was the 5.4L V8. They also offered the old tried and true 4.6L V8 back then. I thought I would ask to be sure though in case I missed an engine in Ford’s history. GMs 5.3L V8 is one of my favorites in the LS family.
“The F150 had the 5.3l engine with 300 hp, 365 tq, ecoboost showed up in 2011, the Supercharged Raptor in 2010.”
Seriously, fuck that guy. Can’t we send him to a gulag in Siberia or something?
