Imagine these same people getting off in an emergency. They’d be punting babies and the elderly.
Is nobody gonna mention that this platform is now EIGHT years old?
Just for honor killings.
10 cents is not 10 cents when the saving is actually 5 cents.
People are selfish assholes.
I’ve worked on, as well as owned, many Toyotas. This one’s too old, too many miles, too much money. ND/CP.
This is assuming these people have shame. In my experience at least 75% do not. If arrest wasn’t an option they would gladly punch or bite people to get on the plane first.
Shipping stuff is a good solution sometimes, but man has it gotten expensive. It also depends on the trip - it’s great if you’re heading to stay with family but less practical coordinating shipment to a hotel that gets there around the same time as you.
Because the back seaters will often fill the first overhead bins with their shit because they’re too lazy to carry it further both ways. That forces the fronters to have to use the overheads in the back, which upon deplaning, requires them to swim upstream (translation: wait for all peeps to clear before heading…
America has no shame anymore. You have an ex-President praising Nazis and paying pornstars. A significant portion of the population are taking their social cues from that bloviating orange idiot. Social entitlement and the rise of “Karen” are skyrocketing, while social shame is all but gone.
Oh boy do I have a video for you.
Gate lice exist primarily because most people have little common sense and/or think they are above the rules due to their sense of entitlement. The gate attendants make so many announcements explaining the boarding rules yet half the people in the group 1 line either have no idea what boarding group they are in or are…
A cattle prod to the back of the neck would probably work equally well.
They want to avoid paying extra fees, but they also want to avoid the inconvenience of gate checking their bag (for free I’ll add) at the expense of those that did pay some extra fees or have status for earlier boarding. They can pound sand.
Man, I remember the days before paying to check a bag when overhead bin space wasn’t a hot commodity. No one was in a rush to board, there wasn’t any chaos, and I did my best to be one of the last people on the plane. Now I get to be one of the first on most flights, and have the joy of sitting on a hot plane for 25…
I love this as a solution for rude/anti-social behavior, but as Cam points out, that behavior exists because of the terrible decisions (which benefit shareholders instead of customers) made by airlines.
Maybe I’m willfully ignoring inflation, but I can’t get to $8,500 on a 28-year-old truck with 280K miles on it, even if it is a Toyota. The fact that he mysteriously says “it would be my collection truck” also gives a strong whiff of “NO LOWBALLERS, I KNOW WHAT I HAVE!” ND.
Granted, this guy worked there, but as a whole, I don’t understand people who go to countries like that and are surprised they wind up in some mess cause they have these draconian laws/rules. Like years ago, those Americans who were jailed for hiking...in Iran. You have the entire world to go hiking in...and that’s…
Cars.com has a few for half the price. But this seller knows what they have, so they should keep it. ND.
