I know car prices have moved on and inflation is a thing…

Just give me a 24 hour heads-up, ok? There are a few of us good guys down here.

Copy of the NOTAM on X

Your life was simple and carefree in the ‘90s because you were a baby.

Actually there were shit, but they were priced like something nice.

that money’s not gonna launder itself

Because kids that grew up riding around in one of these death traps now have money to burn (clearly) and want to relive their youth. This is a awful automobile and is legit junk. My parents had one in the early 90's and it fell apart within 2 years. If you want to see something fun pull up a crash test on one of these

It’s not just the press.  Automakers LOVE these stupid screens because they can cheap out on the dash area.  No longer have to design the layout and knobs/buttons and what not.  Just stick everything in a screen and be done with it.

Oh man - I was so stoked about these last year. Almost put money down to reserve one. Glad I didn’t - because as much as I love almost everything about it, they’re listed at $80k for the RWD version in Canada. And there’s no way I’m paying that much for it.

on a NOTAM the warning lights on the tower were non-operational

I really like the 1-Series. These are roomy too… so for folks who think they’re too tall for a Miata, this is a legit option. It’s just…an old BMW with 140k miles.  That’s pretty near the top of my “do not buy under any circumstances” list. ND.

My heart says, “Yes, yes!”

I kind of expected to see these everywhere in Asheville, but at $70k...who is going to buy these? Especially with a lot of captions on these photos saying, ‘yeah, I expected better.’

I opened the VW page.  “Starting at 60K!”  I closed the page.  Lol...no

A week or two ago I saw 2 Buzzs going down the highway together in NOVA, green and orange two-tones just like the header image. I figured they were press cars.

There is still the high cost of purchasing a new EV.

As someone who has gone through 2 hurricanes, the lines at the gas stations are also very bad. And gas stations run out of gas, but the charging stations don’t run out of electricity.

Very handy little cars (I’ve had two of that generation), but the price, like the seller’s claim that it is “rare,” is somewhere between aspirational and downright delusional for this car as found. Even garage-kept and in showroom condition, I’d be reluctant to pay eight large.

Fairly decent $3K car. ND at this price.

ND at that price. It isn’t remarkable.
