Rust repair, paint, and a full interior plus a fresh motor, you’re looking at another 50-60 grand, depending on who is doing the work and where. 

As expensive as a nice one of these is, you aren’t going to make this one nice for what a nice one costs unless you are an ace body man and mechanic and value your own time at $0/hr.

Once again, a car that Lincoln should have produced. The T-bird should have been built to be a true sports car (paralleled Mustang powertrains, suspension options, and even Shelby Cobra versions) while a Lincoln version focused on true luxury. 

Isn’t the “average” new car price north of $40k these days. I guess that’s “affordable” now. 

Yes, I want an Ionique 5 but 45k is just too much for me. If anyone had a decent looking and performing EV under 30k I would be very interested.

The car never stranded us, but was far from confidence inspiring with 3 dead batteries in 3 years, unexplained significant coolant loss, air…
