“David Blaine shouldn’t be trusted. - Werner Herzog

I think that writer’s interpretation of the working class lifestyle says more about them than it does Biden.

Delighted to report that I have never heard of any of these people.

Agreed

I’ll take it a step further: I thought it was so unnatural and wooden that it nearly ruined the show. It felt like a producer let their kid star in it.

Sorry, I’m disabled from finding English people funny.

I challenge your conception that America has literally ever had any country’s admiration. Attention? Sure. Admiration? Nah.

I don’t think that final scene really established the geography very well, but had some impressive ideas. Would have also helped if I knew who they were fighting, but I blame the weird sound engineering on that. Maybe more impactful on a rewatch.

Tenet was a mess, but there were three action set pieces that were unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. Even the (somewhat) more formulaic opening piece was exciting as hell.

Seriously. If the rule (perhaps, arguably, reasonably) inhibits continuing two of maybe the top five most lauded shows ever, then of what value is the rule?

Looks like Barry has been taking some spin classes.

What a coincidence; I have thoughts on being able to stand up.

In addition to the big men and point guards, Toronto also had a real good coach. I don’t doubt that the Clips have other issues, I’m just still waiting from people to tell me what Ty Lue does that is good, outside of “handles stars well”. Seems pretty amorphous and lacking an actual track record, considering he’s

I would argue they need more structure and discipline, not less, which (I think) is what Ty offers. I also think Lue is (and will continue to) get a whole lot of mileage and future contracts/$ out of coaching 40 games in a season in which the possible best player of all time scored over 40 ppg in the final two games

Ty Lue is a great option for when you want the players to coach themselves and would prefer hiring a sick cat or no one at all as a coach, but unfortunately the CBA states that all coaches must either be homo sapiens and have corporeal form.

Conservatism, in general, equates to “I only want to pay taxes for the things I use/need and only begin paying for the things I use/need the moment I first use/need them.”

Imagine spending the rest of your life in jail because a fat idiot who used to go on Howard Stern to talk about how he totally could have banged Carol Alt that one time convinced you that the future of humanity rested on your involvement in a felony.

Shanann Watts seemed incredibly annoying with all nonstop livecasting of her entire family’s life. That sort of behaviour is an extreme red flag. (Caveat, if needed: she also OBVIOUSLY did not deserve to die. Both of those things can be true.)

You just described conservatism.

Finally, some good news.
