I am thinking in my and my wifes case, we will need one that is more of a commuter line range, 100-150 miles and one that has a 350 mile range in order to get to our favorite vacation spot/eventual retirement city which is about 280 miles from where we currently live.

I think that there will be quite a few people that

Beautiful place. Back in the 90's it was also open to non-divers for just general recreation swimming and such, although they also had an area sectioned off for just divers.

I learned to kayak and to do barrel rolls at Blue Water. I hated it when they closed it off to non-divers, because it was a cool place to take a

This makes me sad, because it is still outside the realm of the average DIYer. I love this idea and would be interested in doing a rat road such as this Merc in the article, but as of right now, it is just not economically feasible not to mention maybe technologically not feasible (for myself anyway) due to how hard

I used to have a cat named Chip. Why is this a relevant comment on this article? Have you seen that front fascia? I realize used cars are going to have some minor chipping, but that is just way too much on 15k 1991 Supra.

Next!

For me, there are two that have always stood out for me.

Sorry Jason the only minivans that I ever dream about are the Previa and more importantly, the Brubaker Box. The VW kit car that we deserve and need.

Now that brings back memories. We had the long wheel base version when I was a pre-teen/teen for hauling the whole family around and our luggage when we went camping. Ours was in Champagne Brown. One thing to note, if you remove the grill in order to replace the radiator, the hood does not now have anything to latch

I would cut it and throw it up on their hood.

Only if is a very fat child. A full keg goes 150lbs to 160lbs.

I am thinking of a word that begins with f and ends with ugly.

I had a 72 Gremlin with a 232 and the lift up rear window in high school. The thing was ragged out. It only ran on 5 cylinders with the 6th one apparently having no rings at all. We chained the dipstick down to keep it from blowing out of the tube. That was how bad the blow by was. I once blew a front tire and found

Road Warrior that thing and take on a Gambler! Cut the fenders out, put some big ass truck tires in there, do some janky looking repairs on the body and some LED external mount boat trailer lights and bam!

Too small for my big ass!

Other than being too shiny this thing is great!

DeBeuLioU has it right, lightly sand blast it while leaving some small remnants of paint, spray it with some water to get a light patina of rust and clear coat it with a matte clear coat. Then, drive it somewhere over dusty roads and do not wash it!

I finally found a Ferrari that I do not like. That is one ugly car.

2nd Gear. Its disruptive to big oil, not big auto.

While that is really a crappy vehicle, I do admire Karlmann. They saw a market full of rich douchbags and asked the question, how can we fleece them and came up with this, which should do the trick. You have 100k or less in the total vehicle build, labor included and you sell it for 2 million+ . Gotta admire that

Now playing

For the gentleman asking about selling the VW back for at least 3k more than he would get on a trade in, I think Steve Miller said it best...

Turn of the century W30 MR2 Spyders can be found under 10k, under 100k miles mid-engined and manual.

Someone shoot it before it escapes into the wild.
