Crack pipe. You can find examples of the MK III for less than this in at least this good of condition, it is not even the rarer pre-July 1968 run with the custom stitching on the back seat.

It might be like my house and have a converted carport. , while wide enough for two cars, is not that long, meaning my Flex will not fit, but my Infiniti FX35 will, even though the difference is only a foot in length.
Not that old, but I had a ‘55 with no power steering. Your arm muscles get hard and strong from low speed turns and parking. I could parallel park that thing easy.
Also, the very large steering wheels helped with low speed maneuvering. They gave you more leverage.
Is anyone else here as thankful as I am that Jason is a force for good? Because the way his brain operates, he would make a really terribly effective supervillian.
Now that is an all electric that actually interests me. I love the look of the Mini, reminds me of my old 81 Civic Hatch.
Decent range, small an maneuverable for in town driving. I must say that for the first time, I would actually be interested in an EV.
Well done Mini!
It looks like somebody forgot to finish carving their jack o’lantern.
I looked at Carvana and at Vroom on my last purchase. I also looked at traditional dealerships. I was able to get a CPO 2017 Ford Flex Limited with about 18K miles from a local ford dealer $2,000 less than Carvana wanted for 2016 Flex SE with 30k, so it pays to not just look at the online sellers. Vroom at least had a…
Probably have the name wrong. It is a long floor jack with a 33" lift. Weighs a freaking ton and when I bought it back in 2004, it was expensive. I paid about $350 bucks for it. It was about the only way that I could lift my wife’s 4Runner to work on brakes. My little lightweight aluminum floor jack would not lift it…
Down here in the south we have those really large roaches. We call them palmetto bugs, and they fly! Just wait until you have one buzz you in the face!
I also leave my jack underneath, although I use a high lift shop jack that I originally bought to jack up a lifted 4runner.
Please do not cheap out on jack stands. Avoid the little thin sheet metal three legged stands. Spend a decent amount on them. I had one collapse on me and break a bone in the top of my foot. Luckily it was a ‘75 Datsun 710 and I was actually on the grass next to the asphalt parking pad, or it might have been worse. I…
Been there threatened to walk, got the loan that I actually could qualify for. Always know your credit score beforehand and try and get a pre-approval on a loan from your bank or credit union.
Now the really good dealers will not do this, but I am talking the very top percentage of them. I went to one in Cullman Al a…
I want another personal luxury coupe like the old Continental MK series. I mean, some of us don’t really need 4 doors anymore as not all of us have 5 kids, 4 dogs and 3 parrots that must all travel with us to go pick up our 8 loaves of bread and 5 gallons of milk so that we can survive on milk sandwiches during the…
Learned the hard way to not skimp when purchasing jack stands. Broke a bone in the top of my foot when a Datsun 710 fell when the cheap sheet metal three point jack stand decided to give way. Luckily I was on the grass side instead of the concrete side of the car or it would have been worse. The car was on concrete,…
While I am partial to my Flex, it is fairly long at 202 inches, but it will swallow gear. It actually hold more gear than my buddies new Tahoe. But since you are not looking for something quite that big, the Ford Edge might be one to look. It is 3 feet shorter than the Flex and 1 foot longer than the Soul, but will…
Row Row Row your own, gently through the gears. Merrily Merrily Merrily Merrily wind run through my hair!
Now granted in this day of EFI, one usually does not think as much about the intakes, because there are other more effective ways to get significant boosts in power, but back in the days of carburated malaise, better intakes paired with the correct carb, was a very cost effective way to increase your horsepower. When…
Ever heard a nice roaring campfire. Yeah that sound from the front of the car while driving on the interstate.
Way too much money for my least favorite Fox body. I prefer the 4 eyes in the 4 eyes and was not a big fan of the S95 series either. Something about the headlights screamed cheap ass car to me.
Its like someone looked at an old Crown Vic police car and said, you know what, that would be a cool paint scheme for a BMW hatchback. Fail! Crackpipe! Fail!
