Are we certain Wehner’s not a medium on the side for baseball players’ dead relatives?

Irony is calling someone out for arrogance while purporting to speak on behalf of the person’s dead grandfather...

In large cities, it’s also perfectly acceptable to just pace it out, saying “One, two, peanuts, that b*tch, gotta go, gotta go, seven, eight, monkey!, b*tch...”

You can say that again. I have no idea who this guy even is, but I have to love him for having an actual human reaction.

Do not bring a child that young that close to the field. Can’t get a sitter & need to bring your kid? That’s what the grandstands are for.

Which is fine, but in this one specific area the risk (I’m assuming, although statistics might not support that) of being hit by a fast-moving foul ball are higher than in any other area of the stadium.

Just hoping that child is okay.

Ugh, again? Maybe it’s time to create “red zones” in stadiums for that one- section gap after the netting ends, with a disclaimer that this area is potentially dangerous and an age cutoff of 13 or older.

For what it’s worth, this is from the Astros’ game thread on Reddit:

“She is going be OK according to my mom. She was 4 rows away and just talked to security guard who said they are taking her to hospital for precautionary but early signs are good.

My work isn’t that lax - security here does know me, and I still have to show ID and get a temporary pass when I forget my security pass. Which is a good thing. But it does make it even more obvious when I do go places or attend events based on their incorrect assumptions that I am allowed to be there.

Maybe Adam Eaton isn’t the bad guy?

If you didn’t care what people think, you wouldn’t have posted your personal missive on an internet comment section.

Right? Surely someone can come up with at least one example of this misogyny, since it’s so widespread and well understood in their music.

I’m not trying to convince you of shit. That’s my viewpoint of Sublime. I don’t care what you think.

To be fair, only 20% of the words were his.

You certainly used a lot of words to call them ‘posers’.

Exactly.  Everest has become Coachella.

Yaz kween!

Definitely regional. I’m from the South and if somebody said, “We’re having a barbecue” my first thought would likely be a barbecued what?

Yeah i made a lot of questionable food decisions during my broke grad school years. Let’s never talk about those times.
