I’m just going to assume it’s actually Trent Klatt in that mascot suit.

100 % correct.  Matthew’s isn’t trying to adjust his technique at all.  He is still jumping up at the qbs chest rather than shooting through their waist.

Well, this rule after an adjustment period won’t even change the game that much.  It will only lower QB injury risk and make sacks look slightly different.

Well if they want to continue to make millions, they can adapt.  QBs are the lifeblood of the league that’s why they can’t paid so much and get special protection.

He is supposed to hit him lower and not launch all his weight on to Smith’s chest.  Matthews needs to adjust his technique.

What Matthews does is not a “form tackle” A form tackle engages in the midsection (not the chest/head), slips the head to one side (not keeping the facemask in the middle of the ballcarrier), and wraps behind the legs (not at the upper back.) Matthews needs to adjust his aim point about a foot lower.

He should have tackled him threw the waist/Abdomen rather than the chest. This would fold the QB at the waist and bring the defenders weight down without landing wholely on the QB.

I am as shocked as you are... but not as much as he was.

Should we burn this one too? https://www.si.edu/spotlight/flag-day/banner-facts  Technically, the flag code says yes, but for some reason the people at the Smithsonian disagree.  I think these flags fall under that being displayed as something more than just a flag exception.

Can you explain why? I think they provide a great visual record of what the tower has been through, and I can’t imagine they are causing any harm to anyone.

The beaches in Wildwood Crest are big enough to easily fit everyone that will read this article. McQuade is in no danger if losing his patch of sand.

I also like the dude in the tan uniform on the far left of the gif (can’t really see him in the video) who reacts like the spectators in And 1 videos when Hot Sauce crosses someone up.

Depends if you have recently touched his head or not.

I have a rule that if I sit and eat. It is a mandatory 5 dollar tip. If I can’t afford to tip the waitstaff 5 bucks on a 16 dollar breakfast, I can’t afford to go out to breakfast.

Chill out, dude.

I know you are right and I should condemn actions like this, but this behavior while extremely childish is also extremely hilarious.

Do you not understand this is because of depth of throw? Let’s look at Eli’s completion percentage to WRs vs. TEs & RBs. The Carolina offense was always downfield oriented because Cam’s arm strength is easy to fall in love with; when running an offense you trade off completion percentage for big play ability.

You don’t talk shit on people you used to work with because it just isn’t necessary and only makes you look like a whiner.

This also doesn’t take into consideration the difficulty of the throws he is asked to make. Year after year his average throw was markedly longer than every other NFL QB. Not saying he is super accurate, but relying on just completion percentage doesn’t tell the whole story.

Sure CC won more games, but Felix was a much better pitcher that year. 2.27 ERA compared to 3.18. 232 Ks compared to 191. 1.057 whip compared to 1.191.
