It isn't, and that's not how you spell "grammar".
Why is there a comma in the headline
I imagine that’s in the same genre as “why, sure I’d like to get a paying job in a movie that might or might not get made” celebrity interviews. After Dark Phoenix, I imagine we’ve seen the last of any of the Fox X-Men.
Sophie Turner is the only person who wants Sophie Turner back in the role of Jean Grey.
Ugh. No more Sophie Turner Jean Grey.
except the “tribal” in this context are quite possibly same people as white dude, just got there first, they are not pre-industrial at all and quite a few other differences...
lol, read the first one back in high school. Just felt like having a laugh at everyone else’s expense. Given the replies it seems to have worked amazingly well.
So some white dude ends up in a new world, falls in love with the local tribal girl, and leads an uprising. How is this not Pocahontas?
Two thoughts:
They did say Lister was a God to the Cat race... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waiting_for_God_(Red_Dwarf)
Honestly, I’m fine with Christine not being in the sequel. It’s similar to Thor in that the world he occupies is so bizarre that you have a hard time fitting Jane in without it either feeling shoe-horned or under-utilized.
I don’t agree.
1.) IO9 writers shouldn’t worry about controlling what others will say or think about their work. Even in the comments section. If they want to respond, they can. If not, then not. It’s kind of a good lesson for all internet users to recognize that a response to you or your work from an individual is…
I wonder what would happen if the next time you made a “Women List”, you didn’t bring up that the list is specifically about women. Just list them and leave it without drawing any extra attention to it.
For example, this headline for this list would be:
“14 Directors Taking on Genre Movies We’re Excited to Watch”
Most of the people watching the show will have never played the games and 99% of them won’t have read the books. It’s more than reasonable to critically view the show as its own thing that doesn’t need outside supporting documents. I say this as someone who liked the show a lot more than I think io9 did.
JJ wrote for a trilogy to start with, but it was Disney who decided to give the 2nd movie to Rian Johnson. And Johnson wanted to write his own Star Wars movie, so he completely threw out JJ’s treatment (which eventually leaked online) and wrote an entirely different movie, essentially sabotaging the idea of having any…
Do we need it: No
Right, that’s why they said there will still be zombies, but their argument is that big zombie hoards don’t make a ton of sense once you move the timeline out a bit.
Yeah, at one point zombies must become a more easily manageable threat. Like wild animals. There are wolves, lions and bears roaming around the world, but most people live their whole lives without ever seeing one in wild.
At a point, zombie hoards can’t be a thing anymore. Like, we’ve seen entire populations of them mowed down just in a couple cities. You might get a couple strays because people died, but the idea of large groups of them this far after is ludicrous
