I’m from an area where brick and real woodwork is appreciated. I hate, hate, hate when I see folks do that when remodeling. If you bought it for charm, keep it but make it modern. Painting over brick is not making it modern at all.

Ugh...I don’t agree. I don’t agree that God hates anyone. lol. Stupid edit feature was gone before I saw that typo.

Indeed. But second scenario has happened as well. It’s not unheard of.

It can, and has, happened. I think that whole situation with Britney Granier was one. But, even if a person isn’t a bio parent or adoptive parent, in some states if the judge deems the support to be in the best interest of the child, they can grant it. I’m not sure that it applies here but I wouldn’t think affluenza

This is also why I don’t attend. I do agree that God hates homosexuals (or anyone at all).

I think they are one of the only ones on HGTV to never feature any gay couples on the show. I know that the show is located in Waco, Tx, but I’m sure there are gay people there. Either way, I agree with you. Just come out and say “yes, we believe in what the Bible says about homosexuality (which isn’t much), or “yes

It doesn’t surprise me that he would respond this way. He’s seems incredibly immature just looking at his interaction with Jo on the show. He is, along with the overwhelming amount of fucking shiplap she uses for every remodel, the reason I don’t watch the show. She’s fine on her own. He’s an overgrown infant

Aaaand, she shouldn’t. Especially if he cheated. The thing, though, that is super ballsy of him is that he asked her to pay his child support. Those are not her kids. I’m not sure if she’s been paying it for him. If so, I think she’s gonna have a hell of a time getting a judge to disregard that in the final ruling.

I understand and I agree. I do think many folks care about things that are singular and privileged, depending on their own life experiences. For example, I’m a black woman and both body autonomy and police brutality matter a lot to me. However, I’m not an immigrant and I don’t know too many who are. So as much as I

I’m from this area originally and I can assure you that wanna-be politicians come to Youngstown/Warren a lot to test the waters for a political run. This is just another day in the cycle. He’s putting the finger on the pulse of why trump democrats are frustrated and, unlike 45, he can actually create jobs. That’s what

Yes. I was pretty young but even I knew she was gay from the previous jokes/storyline. I didn’t know that coming out was a thing (I was like 10 or 11 then), but they definitely hyped it up in part because I think it leaked that Oprah was going to be on as well.

I watched it with my parents because we normally watched that show. My mom was horrified by it but my dad was like, “so, you don’t think you know gay people now? What’s your issue with this?” It took YEARS for me and my sister to get my mom to understand that SHE doesn’t have to be gay or even understand why others

Not at all. Lala has always been curvy. She was sort of chubby back in her MTV VJ days, but she’s always been solidly built. If she got with a trainer, that’s all she’d need to have the body she has now. I get sick of folks confusing real with fake because they are so used to seeing that fake IG type shit all the

I stopped watching then as well. I thought I’d get through season 3 but I could not. Empire is just bad now.

Ah yes, Taye Diggs is also on this show, and with just a few more people this could be a Best Man sequel.

I get it. It wasn’t an attack on your personally. I’m just over the K clan’s appropriation of all things black and the general community at large taking no issue with it.

From that perspective, you’re right. I agree.

They know. They fucking know. They just want to keep using her body type as the “gold star” because she’s not black. Because we can’t have a body type that is common in the black community be the standard. No way. But, take that body type gotten through surgical enhancements and put it on an ethnically ambiguous woman

Are there women out there who naturally have these body shapes? Yes, but they’re few and far between.

I disagree. While so much of her is fake as hell, you can absolutely be curvy and have a flat stomach/banging abs. It takes work and more than cardio. But it can be, and has been, done by many curvy girls.
