An adaptation of Assata Shakur’s life based on her riveting autobiography. That would not be safe and I’d watch the shit out of it.

I blackout sometimes too. I’m not usually mean though. Just more “myself” in a turned up fashion.

Plus, body fat percentage makes a huge difference. I wear a size 6 but my body fat percentage is around 22%, which makes me look leaner. If I were at 29% but the same weight, I’d look heavier for sure. It’s not just the size or weight that matters.

I asked a question about the situation regarding “the post” on Gawker and got no answer. I have no idea what the hell is going on and anytime I read about something that has to do with “the post that shall not be named,” I feel like I’m reading code.

Let’s just be clear on this. If she thought her shoulder was broken, HOW THE HELL did she tie anything strong enough to secure it from falling under the weight of her body? And, since when is a trash bag liner strong enough to hold the hanging weight of a human being?

I’m actually fine with it. That’s why I asked cuz I know I’m not going to explore it. Just wondered.

Since I’m not familiar with Reddit, this is where I’ve heard about it recently. So yes, that’s what I meant. But I figured othes here knew more about it and could speak on the culture and appeal, which is why I asked.

Not sure why you’re being nasty about it all but until this scandal broke I was not sure WTF Reddit actually was or WTF is actually was used for. So because I’m not “in the know” and asked people who go there to lend credibility to its appeal, I’m somehow a mystified “typical” Jez user?

I love it when those people butt in because it gives me a chance to open up my “mean girls” persona (that served me well in middle school dammit).

When put that way, it makes the site sound pretty decent. I was mostly asking this because overall I’m not familiar with it and really didn’t want to take the time to actually visit Reddit and try to navigate it to see its appeal.

Not really though. From what I understand of Reddit, you can’t dismiss a trolling/racist/sexist comment. You can downvote it, which I suppose works in a similar fashion. At least here you can dismiss or the person is usually greyed out. We can bring them out of the greys (and deal with the BS that way). Here you have

In all seriousness, why do people remain on Reddit? I have never in my life gone to the forum and, save for a few threads coming up in search results, have not even run across it in all my years of using the internet. With so much coming out about the site, is this just a case of bad publicity over a small subset of

100% >< with you. I was so confused initially.

I eventually gave up reading the actual story and headed to the comments to see if anyone else felt the same way or had a cliffnotes synopsis.

I saw that tag and died. My old hairdresser is gay and he used to always talk about “monster dick” and “dick of doom” when he was retelling his hook up stories while braiding my hair. I cannot stress how hilarious these stories were. We need more stories under the “monster dick” tags MARK!!!!!

Another week, another police brutality story. I am sad, angry, upset, devastated and just, again, tired. Is there nowhere in the world we can go where we can just fucking be? I’m in the early stages of researching other places to live in the world. I’ve lived abroad before and am seriously planning to make the move in

I really don’t know why it went that far. It was crazy. I was there today and she had an attitude with everyone. Not sure if it was because no one really was trying to hear her ridiculousness yesterday or what. But, again...it was super uncomfortable for the rest of the people working there. Her initial behavior (that

I can relate to that as well.

I understand this. This is the same reason I could not be a social worker. I would end up being a killer of people who abused kids. Too much empathy and no way to “solve” the issue can be a dangerous thing.

When put this way, I understand what you mean. I had empathy for the character Dexter because I could totally understand why he’d want to kill people who were guilty of heinous crimes but got off on a technicality. Might be a bad example, but that’s all I got. Lol
