Perhaps you should research a tag before you go ahead and use it willy-nilly.

You used the #NotYourShield hashtag in your first post. That pretty much associates you with Gamergate.

Marcella has the best simple recipes that impress the easily deceived. I'm particularly fond of her pasta sauce that is just a big can of San Marzano tomatoes, some butter, and an onion.

I'm loath to do this, because I don't like to encourage vegetarianism, but I have a really good chicken recipe that also works well with seitan (and is even vegan in this version)

Hahahahahahahahahh *gasp* hahahahahahahhhhhh

If a new hashtag was used, one that explicitly disavowed threats, doxing, and hate-speech; and which addressed actual instances of corruption in gaming journalism, rather than focusing on one woman's sex life and constructing elaborate and fantastical conspiracy theories around it, then yes- I think it probably would

Except the thing I want doesn't involve harassment, doxxing, or threats of rape and death. I think if you are trying to close the barn door on GamerGate, you may wish to consider that the horse is long gone.

If GamerGate was in any way a source for valid criticism, it would not have involved Zoe Quinn at all.

The criminal fanatics did not co-opt valid criticism. They invented it after the fact as a fig-leaf for their attacks on Zoe Quinn. If this continues to be about Zoe Quinn, it is because she continues to receive threats and harassment, which, as she herself has demonstrated, come from the same sources as those

Well let's see- here's a list of GamerGate's claims and what they've accomplished. I think it's a pretty clear picture.

I like how ginger tabby is all, "Yeah, I'm sitting here in the sun, and I'm getting a somewhat half-assed ear cleaning. Could be worse."

Is best quote from movie!

Eatin' people alive? Where's that get fun?

Now playing

They did one thing with it (and it was awesome):

I think it's great that you're Indian. You're religion is so fascinating! And I love tandoori!

Isn't Ren Hoek Latino, anyway?

I'm a huge fan of steak tartare, but if you ever have the opportunity, try a tartare aller-retour. It is a steak tartare that has been quickly seared on either side, just enough to get the Maillard reaction going. Try it with a big red from southeast France- it is a transcendent experience.

Duh- the wings are vestigial. It's called evolution.
