Narrator: “But the level of toxicity did not go down. If anything, it increased.”

I think “Tawawa on Monday 2" is probably not most accurate English version of that title.

Dammit, Funimation- you’ve got some pretty good selections this season, and I’d probably watch them if your god-damn user experience wasn’t so fucking terrible.

You’ve never seen Curling Fight! Isoide Hardo before? It was a pretty solid if a bit formulaic sports anime from 2014.

Yo, I don’t want this Shinkansen to turn into a giant robot. I just want it to get me to Kobe.

You’ve fucked up when a Canadian starts throwing punches off the ice.

That take was so hot, the Russians are now denying they saw graphite on the ground nearby.

Nigatsu-do temple, Nara

Man, Nakamise-dori did not look like this, the last time I was there.

Sir, this is an Arby’s.

First episode of Demon Slayer was quite good, and it’s set in the Taisho era, which you don’t see a lot. Sarazanmai looks funny and weird, and of the three (!) baseball anime, I’ll probably catch Cinderella Nine. Joshi Kausei seems cute, but it’s no How Clumsy You Are, Miss Ueno.

I’m actually more annoyed that it looks like a cheap knock-off of Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid, which was actually really charming and funny (in its own way).

Yowamushi Pedal Glory Line a.k.a. “The continuing adventures of a group of teenagers who are inexplicably given access to $15,000 bicycles.

Nice to see more straight ahead fantasy that doesn’t follow the “regular person is transported to fantasy/rpg world”.

Now playing

Yeah, my generation was introduced to anime by a somewhat different show:

I was pretty sure I’d enjoy Kino and Ancient Magus’ Bride, but I’m also really getting into Konohana Kitan. It’s just a super-cute, relaxing piece of fluff, but I find it absolutely charming.

Hmmm...I wonder who might be Amazon’s core market for a service such as this.

I tend to prefer Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture” for those, um...moments.

Takashi Miike, I thought you still lived in Japan.

Do they still even play football in Portsmouth?
