This makes no sense. In the order of events that happened

I will go to my grave insisting that STEEL was better than BATMAN & ROBIN, which came out the same year.

Full disclosure: I edited the movie novelization of STEEL, which, I swear to God, seemed like a good idea at the time. (Publishing a novelization, I mean.)

To me (maybe you don’t agree) Hannibal is so innately likable and chill, that even when he is trolling hard, he’s still adorable.

*Spoiler warning* Ghostbusters have uniform and car, bust ghosts.

Maybe, just maybe, Paul Feig thought the story would be more interesting with women in the roles and made a creative decision. Nah, must be “PC.”

You seem disproportionately enraged by the casting choices for a reboot of a movie about people who capture ghosts for a living.

So you sat in on the development meetings, huh? You got all the scoop about how the film is merely constructed for PC reasons? Please, share it with us so we poor, put-upon fanboys can go rage on those damn SJW’s who ruin all our precious franchises.

Does anyone else find Leslie Jones very miscast in this? Bed enough she’s already the token black character (which they could have fixed by having one of the others another ethnicity), but as good as she is (otherwise she wouldn’t be in this) she sticks out like a sore thumb on SNL and I have a fear she might in this

I wanna see Slimer ;)

Hey Paul, how about you stop spoiling your own movie. While your at it give Bryan Singer a call about it too.

No one would be complaining if Jack Black was in it.

Not yet, but I’ll give it a shot at some point. I honestly hope it is different and a change from her usual cinematic endevours.

I think they use her weight as a crutch. Just lazy comedy. Trust me, I’m no Jack Black fan either when he’s over the top wacky. I liked her in St. Vincent. She was just a mother trying to raise her son. Sure it’s a different type of movie, but it shows she can act (and very well) without relying on her falling down or

I agree about McCarthy’s schtick, but I’m open to her doing an interpretation of Bill Murray

It’s a little known fact that Egon was a huge fan of Perfect Tommy.

I’m a guy who’s nailed to one end of the Kinsey scale, and even I could see that this James Olsen fellow is a super-hottie with easy charm to spare.

I freaking loved the trailer, but I’m a guy so maybe I see it differently. Granted it was a bit cheesy, but she reminds me of Felicity Smoak.

I’ll confess. I wept like a little girl at the end of it and I’m 51 yrs old.
