My guess is that the coolers didn’t get cleaned properly before installation and put debris into the engine.   I’ve seen stuff like that have debris issues before.

So what exactly failed with the oil coolers?  Like was there a leak that wasn’t detected or did the cause oil starvation from being clogged or what?

As a 40 year resident of Irvine, this surprises me. Kids are driving Cybertrucks to school here, so I doubt that a student being forced to sit through a DARE presentation will be all that impressed. As noted in the post below, just take a car from the drug seizure lot and be done with it.
