I remember reading about this exhaust system in PopSci 20 years ago. Its just Peltier cycle semi-conductors. They didn’t pursue it then for the same reasons they wont now - the output isn’t even close to worth it for the cost.

I think we just need to go back to double-din units so that people can do what they want instead of being locked-in to whatever design the OEM came up with.

Two issues with this in the US:

1] reversing cameras are required. Therefore a built-in screen is required.
2] last I looked, lawmakers were in the process of demanding that cars came standard with AM radio.

I mean... I *guess* you could have a built-in screen that handles the camera, the AM radio, and whatever vehicle…

Why can’t we build houses like this, just stack the prefab pieces on top of one another and bolt it down.
