Yes, meditation is INCREDIBLY beneficial. It is, however, very hard to develop a practice on your own. This is why there are Meditation teachers and centers, and why cultures that practice meditation have traditions of teachers/mentors/spiritual leaders/gurus and what have you. The first article in this series got me reading up on coffee and I got obsessed over last few days in finding a good burr grinder I could afford. Learned that Baratza posts discounted refurbished models for sale on their site every Thursday. I ended up getting a great deal on a Bodum Bistro Burr grinder (Los…
Totally!
Excited to learn more as the boyfriend is a bit of a coffee snob and make a cup that pleases him is tough.

Previously had success with Weight Watchers for the same purpose; am also a fan of their system - especially for people who need to…
Thanks for info - never heard of this one. Love that it's not covered with ads!
This Radio Lab piece about a man who uses Lucid Dreaming to try to stop a nightmare that has haunted him for years is one of the most amazing things I've ever heard.
1) LH has had a big spam problem in comments this week. 2, I've been batch encoding from within Handbrake for a while now - even batching from different ISO files.
Heidi Grant Halverson talks about this in her excellent book SUCCEED (highly recommend) http://www.amazon.com/Succeed-How-Can-Reach-Goals/dp/0452297710
