Has everyone forgotten about DLC that’s actually already complete and shipped with the game and then requires money to unlock? (and comes in the form of a 100kb download) I’m talking new cars, new fighters, new maps, even new chapters.

That argument implies that companies won’t always go after more money if they can. I don’t think cost has anything to do with the fact that a business’ goal is to make money. Therefore if there’s a way to make more of it they will take it.

I have a hard time taking any dev seriously when their argument is “living in the Bay Area is expensive”.

Not exactly applicable, but the Dark Souls PC port comes to mind in which the developers couldn’t get (intern) modern resolutions to work but some guy released a patch about 2 hours after the game released which fixed that.

Yeah, I don’t dismiss DLC, but if you have content that could be in your game on release day, and your game is six hours long and costs $50, and the DLC you are sitting on is 2 hours and costs $15...that “DLC” should have been in that game. Sounds like you just cut out 1-2 missions from the original game to sell to

my favourite thing is when a modder fixes one of these bugs with a single line of code, and it takes months before the developer decides to do it themselves.

People don’t seem to think that. They hate Day 1 DLC as it should be in the game and they hate overpriced DLC. People are generally happy with DLC as long as it’s good for the price they charge, just look at the respect CD Projekt Red and Paradox Development Studio get for their DLC plans because of the fact they’re

“Most people think we sit and play games all day, but in reality I hardly ever play my game at work.”

I liked it! I was also pretty young the first time I watched it, so I don’t think my quality meter was too high, but I still think it’s an enjoyable movie. (I DON’T CARE that he doesn’t speak with an English accent!)

I love the original trilogy like I love your mom, but let’s be honest, it’s not the cinematic masterpiece that we’ve built it into over the years. It’s a wonderful product of nostalgia.

The only reason why we oldies (25 and over) think that the prequels suck and the OT was the bee’s knees is because of nostalgia.

I like the movies a lot. I don’t mind the plot holes. What annoys me is when you point them out the fanboys get all huffy and use fan theories (CHEWIE AND R2 ARE REBEL SPIES! BOBA CRAWLED OUT OF THE GIANT SAND VAGINA) to cover them up. Just admit there are mistakes, and enjoy them for what they are, a great

Just because you can buy Star Wars tickets tonight, doesn’t mean you need to.

common courtesy dictates that when there’s traffic behind you, you match the number on the sign or you pull over.

a) You probably don’t ride. Believe me, there are plenty of places that are unsafe for a car to pass where it’s no problem for a bike (either due to the bike being able to do the pass or simply because of things like better sightlines due to lane positioning etc). So it comes down to The Law vs. common sense, being

Looks to me like a case of asshole (swerving into them) on asshole (speeding recklessly, passing in a no passing zone, no safety clothing) crime.

I love Emily Blunt’s transformation into one awesome action heroine. It does make it all the more painful that she had to back out of playing Black Widow due to her contractual obligation with Fox for fucking “Gulliver’s Travels”, of all things. I hope Marvel will be kind enough to offer up Captain Marvel to her first.

trailblazer like its elders.

Between this and the removal of split screen, I’m losing interest in this game real fast.
