I agree with you about the Roller storyline. I didn’t find it funny but I also don’t know if it was actually played for laughs or just absurd. I thought it was pretty terrible, though—the only thing about the series I didn’t like so far. In terms of tone, I disagree with you—I think it does a good job of walking the

This show really taught me not to judge a book by its cover. I saw the description of the show On Demand last year and thought “well this sounds terrible” but my husband wanted to check it out. I’m so glad I did because by the end of the second episode we were both hooked. It’s funny and smart and I love the whole

A lot of people are cheering for the fourth episode turning point and I agree it’s really true. I will say I was into it by the second, by the fourth episode was when my husband’s interest was piqued, and then he just wanted to marathon through the rest of it.

Holy cow, Jackie Mason is still alive? I’m embarrassed, I thought he died ten years ago.

Not comedian, but humorist—P.J. O’Rourke is pretty funny IMO.

That kettle scene is truly eerie. The whole movie is, but that scene in particular got me.

It’s nice to see someone else give a shout out to Whitechocolatespaceegg. I loved that album in college and listened to it ad nauseum even though it’s not quite as good as Exile.

Oooh, I like that idea, too. He’s musical, weird, and boyishly mischievous.

Look, I like Donald Glover a lot, but I do not see him as Willy Wonka. His acting has come a long way, but I think he would come off as too self-conscious, and not deeply weird enough. I could see someone like Anthony Carrigan or John Cameron Mitchell being a better fit.

I watched the first season of Humans and I loved it but then I dropped the ball and didn’t keep watching. I think it does a great job of conveying human-AI interaction and how the commercialization of androids would work in the real world in a realistic way.

The thing is, I would go see it regardless of whether or not it’s part of the franchise—in fact, until I saw the trailer I sort of wrote it off because it was part of the franchise.

I think Batman and Robin makes sense in a weird way if you’re a fan of the original TV series. It’s all camp, all the time. But it’s pretty bad. It’s not Elektra/ Green Lantern/League of Extraordinary Gentlemen bad, but it’s waaaay down there IMO.

Good through: Forever!

I had assumed that perhaps she is a target or somehow used by the group, the way Ellen Barkin was in the third Ocean movie. However, actors who appear to be on the team are: Sandra Bullock, Mindy Kaling, Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, Awkwafina, Helena Bonham Carter and Sarah Paulson—that’s only 7. James Cordon might be the

I still don’t understand why they had to make Ocean’s 8 part of the whole Ocean franchise. It seems like the cast and story has enough legs to stand on its own. This makes it seem more like a gimmick and less like a cool heist movie. But they can shut up and take my money because I’m on board for it.

Is it weird that I really want to see that?

I’ve run over so many people to that song in GTA.

“Titanic and weird.”

I always thought Madmartigan reminded me of Han, glad to know I wasn’t the only one. But to be fair, can’t we say that Han is reminiscent of older archetypes? Like Douglas Fairbanks and Errol Flynn characters?

“They would also have longtime fans believe the Roseanne that featured the first homosexual wedding of a recurring character in a network TV series could somehow retain the same socially-conscious framework, despite its star having becoming a transphobic Twitter troll.”
