I saw a screening at the Sydney Film Festival in IMAX on Saturday; the film is bananas, but I had a blast watching it and would love to see it again.

I was at a screening at the Sydney Film Festival on Saturday and they had some in-person do it.

No idea how you roll that out on scale.

And add “spoilers in the headline” too!

Please, please, please stop the ragebait headlines and articles. I miss this place making me feel optimistic about film, TV and music, rather than the constant misery that the Newswire serves up.

Yeah, “spoiler-alerts-be-damned” best defining the attitudes of AV Club, and how this website has gone to absolute shit.

American’s inability to understand inequality as a class issue is continually astounding.

I have always found the criticism of Chris Pratt to be lazy AF. People making broad assumptions about who the guy is, based on where he may/may not attend church, as proof that he is homophobic or endorses homophobic views.

No-one has ever been able to point to clear and proven homophobic actions or sentiments that

How the fuck have you juiced two stories out of this one podcast interview, posted one week apart from each other?

Cool story, but how about reporting on G/O Management squeezing out seven of your staff?

Also, as he points out, this ‘news’ has been manufactured from a month-old podcast. So this AV Club post is clearly, lazily ripping off the Newsweek article without sourcing it.

Hey, AV Club, he’s explicitly called out the Newsweek article in question and how it’s utter bullshit.

Great list, made only slightly sad by the low ranking of Lord of the Rings, which I feel should be at least ten places higher than it is.

‘It’s Always Sunny’ has been a staple of my life since 2007-ish when I got S1&2 on DVD (because Danny DeVito was on the cover and in a new TV show!). I’ve loved it ever since and it is one of my all time comedies.

I don’t think you should see your need to not wanting to be confronted by this abuse as selfish necessarily, and I think you are still being respectful to the victims at the same time.
