Well, that’s just it, his coworkers and friends won’t believe that such a good guy (to them) can be a bad person.

Taxes and regulations, done correctly, can guide our country’s economic and security interests. The key, of course, is “done correctly.” Tariffs are often the opposite of that.

I kinda see NAFTA and manufacturing in Mexico as a way, in theory, to minimize the number of illegal immigrants coming to the US, including those from other South American countries. A good economy for Mexico means more stability and job availability, and less reason to go to the US.

Only if it’s available in brown.

Would a good person do that?

Eminent domain for things like public roads and the like are okay. Eminent domain used to acquire land for private developers is not. And the latter happens, unfortunately.

Overqualified, based upon the current SoE.

That’s funny, the picture in the article showed the sub and two divers in a pool. Not *exactly* the same as the cave.

Do we ignore these?

I tried the Xbox live doing a “Buy as gift” and all the way through checkout it was $59.99. Not sure what the problem is.

Again, there’s a lot more pressure than you imagine. The divers had to fight fast currents at certain points. Currents are fastest at the choke points. Also, people have drown in swimming pools, 8'-10' deep, getting caught in the small drain pipe at the bottom. A 12" diameter opening with fast-moving water, trying to

I don’t think you get the point. It isn’t about water pressure caused by depth. It’s the pressure exerted by huge amounts of slowly moving water pressing against an object that’s essentially like a loosely-fitting cork in the narrow tunnel.

BB440 specifically commented on the viability of the sub. I was replying to that. As far as how two people treated each other in a public forum, they both acted like asshats.

I looked at doing that and realized that the added insurance cost for another car, even a beater, would likely null any gas savings from driving my truck to work. Never try to sell a car purchase in terms of saving money. It usually won’t pass a sanity check, especially if your wife is a CPA.

From what I understand, there were narrow passages that the ‘sub’ wouldn’t have fit through. Even if it had fit, there was the water current and through those narrow passages, and there’s no way that the divers could have pushed/pulled the sub against it. Lots of water pushing against the sub that’s blocking almost the

Before air bags, it wasn’t unusual for a properly belted driver involved in a front end crash to do a ‘face plant’ into the steering wheel. You could still wind up with serious or even fatal injuries. Seat belts help keep you in the vehicle and protect you when the vehicle takes a long time to come to a stop, i.e. a

And I agree with you on that as well; many modern cars are capable of sustained 100mph+ driving. But you get people with mixed abilities, i.e. young and inexperienced or old and slower reactions and poor (but legal for driving) vision. You have people who don’t maintain their cars properly. Add my point about vehicles

Hail + flood damage?

Did they ever have manual wipers?

Manual windows and door locks?
