Wait what? Do you think she’s throwing it?

I respect that she’s not moving the election per McConnell’s wishes even though it hurts the GOP’s chances.
Doug Jones is awesome! He prosecuted the Klan members who blew up the church in Birmingham (killing 4 young girls) and he’s very progressive. He’s also determined not to nationalize the race and is crisscrossing the state knocking on doors. He’s exactly the kind of candidate Dems need - local and unapologetic.
Good luck from Georgia, neighbor!
I feel awful for poor Ginsburg not being able to retire because of Trump.
I don’t think that would be good - don’t nationalize a race a la Ossoff. If the DNC gets involved they should do it on the DL.
I agree. There’s just no way he wins an election on his own. Didn’t he only take this gig because he was about to be run out of the governor’s mansion in Indiana?
I know, I’m the same way about pyramid schemes. Can’t get enough.
Awesome story about another electoral win in Virginia: the man whose girlfriend was killed while anchoring a live TV broadcast won against an NRA candidate.
I think his dad is an OB/GYN.
YES. I’ve been saying for months they need to build a fake Twitter app for him to use, but you’re totally right. He doesn’t fucking know.
I’m sure he was threatened with a lot more, and pleaded guilty to this lesser charge.
The dossier was initially funded by a GOP primary candidate, I’m guessing Jeb!. This, of course, does not make it into the headlines, and MAGA Twitter has the impression that evil Hillary is behind the whole dossier. From the WaPo link:
I wouldn’t either. He seems kind, if woefully misguided and easily influenced.
My dad worked for Carter and we know plenty of people in common. There isn’t one bad rumor around about that guy.
The OJ documentary on espn was excellent (I think it’s on Hulu now). It’s more than a trial rehash - it puts the case in the context of race relations in LA at the time. You may like it!
Damn internet.
Congratulations to you! When is the bar exam?
That would be the smoothest option. Impeachment (or, even less likely, indictment) means trial. If he’s not actually removed, he has too much power, period.
