I think my Niva beat the Tesla in quality
Ok....yeah...sure...
Boeing is Exhibit A of, if corporations really want to be people, there needs to be a corporate death penalty. Break it up, sell off the parts, and let another aerospace company rise that won’t endanger air travel by cutting corners for profits.
I’ve never owned a motorcycle or been to a bike race before, but I went to the Super Bike race at Road Atlanta a few weeks ago. The Super Bikes were a blast to watch and I agree the Baggers got something special. Watching those guys balance on the edge and dance through a left-right chicane was wild.
I’ve seen it before. It’s so dumb, it’s awesome. Not at ridiculous as sidecar racing though.
A true reader appreciates a PG throwback:

“You can trust a Jalopnik writer not to crash a Camaro.”
I notice there are no Goldwings. I suspect a well tuned GL1800 would mop the floor with a Harley.
Harleys electric motorcycle had Brembo brakes not HD brakes.
Too bad you guys missed the bikes checking in, oh MAN what a sight! Husquavarnas, Yamahas, DMZs... Kawasakis! Maicos! Pursangs! Swedish Fireballs! ...a couple of Triumphs here and there, a CZ, all very, very fast.
If you’re intrigued, this King of the Baggers docuseries is worth a watch.
I remember when Speedvision was a thing, and it was glorious. All manner of racing things that weren’t NASCAR. Channel boats, lawnmowers, etc...
Racing things not meant to be raced seems to always lead to hilarious, satisfying spectacle. I’d love to see one of these.
I gotta give props to MotoAmerica for making this a fulltime series, since it’s so uniquely American. They also post the full races a week later on their Youtube channel (that’s extra good because I think the price to their streaming service is too high. It’s $35 more than World Superbike, for a regional championship).
Ridiculous? Absolutely. Their legs must be jelly after one of these events.
This is the correct answer.
I say we should race EVERYTHING that has wheels and a motor. Even if that motor is your body.
Racing any kind of dumb vehicle is great racing.
