Somehow I imagine her memory of the constitution also gets a little fuzzy when it comes to the “well-regulated militia” part of those gun rights.

It’s just an excuse they use to justify twisting the law to support their regressive beliefs. They don't really mean it, if that helps (it doesn't).

Not only that, but they understood the Constitution could change with the times, so they added the ability to amend it.

“That means that I interpret the Constitution as a law...I understand it to have the meaning that it had at the time people ratified it. That meaning doesn’t change over time and it’s not up to me to update it or infuse my policy views into it,”

The link to Jalopnik’s erstwhile competitor goes back to Jalopnik instead, and the link to an upcoming project from said competitor links to an upcoming waste water treatment plant instead.

The majority of people would be just fine owning a small sedan and occasionally renting a truck from Home depot or a van from Uhaul twice a year when they absolutely need one.

Nobody is saying that 99% of truck buyers don’t need anything more than a Ridgeline. But it is probably 80-85%. Can’t tow a horse trailer. How many people do you know with a horse trailer that would also look into buying a Ridgeline? This truck is perfect for the rest of those 80% who toss some mulch in the back in

The Canyon is the Colorado for people who think Buick dealerships are fancy.

The wheels are fantastic.

It’s not about looking mean, it’s about looking rugged. It’s a little dumb but people’s perception is very important. If they want a truck it’s because they want to do work or adventure things. Things that require durability. So they want their vehicle to look like it’s capable of those things. (even if they’re not

You want more telephoto lenses and fewer wide-angle lenses?

The truck that has enough capability for 99% of people now looks like a truck. Good job Honda! (under my breath: about fucking time)

Because they’re still typically driven by normal people in normal conditions.

It’s also a much bigger, heavier car.

Yeah I feel like unless you’re making a tiny hot hatch, 300hp is the minimum you want in a sportscar. I can go buy a Camry with more power than the current Toyobarus.

I’d settle for 250HP if NA and revs high. But it won’t start at $25k. More than needing power, GT86/BRZ/FR-S is too expensive for what it is. I bought a new LT1 V8 Camaro, 6-speed manual, for $30k, and it is twice the car as a 86/BRZ (I had a FR-S for a while).

“What do we want?”

The horsepower number isn’t the problem as much as the torque number, more specifically the lack of and delivery of it. It doesn’t need a high displacement turbo 4, a well tuned NA 2.0 like the Miata sports would be a great step towards drivability. That said I think a turbo 4 would do a great job, either the 2.0 from

I doubt it’ll get too large of a boost since Toyota needs it to stay less powerful than the 2.0L Supra they just released in the states
