Its not weakness. Hamilton did nothing wrong today. Stewards reversed penalties.

Well. Your wrong. Stewards retracted the penalty.

I mean, does Merc want a better driver than Bottas?

The buck stops with Lewis on the pit lane entry penalty at Monza. The pit crew may have been telling him to box, but the markers that said the pit lane was closed supersede that. It’s a failure on both ends, but Lewis should have noticed at least one of those markers.

Eh, I’d say that in both instances he checked with his team beforehand if all is kosher. If they say ‘yes’, it’s on them.

Might want to amend the article to note that the FIA dropped the penalty points for this race and replaced them with a fine to Mercedes.

Not just the car. If you look at the comparison the FIA made, they used factors and algorithms that would discount the performance of the car from the equation and Hamilton still came out third (I think). He was only beaten by Ayrton Senna and Micheal Schumacher, which is kind of to be expected.

Don’t break your arm patting yourself on the back for winning a race either your team-mate or the stewards handed to you on a silver platter, Valtteri.

If his pit crew advises him wrong (both for last race’s pitlane entry as well as for this starting maneuver), it’s hardly his mental ability that’s questionable.

I’d advise him to look for a new race manager, maybe?

I wouldn’t want to see that at all personally... the talking and finger pointing that would ensue would pretty much overshadow anything else. Just let them race, and if he messes up, it’ll be his fault.

“To my critics and to whom it may concern, fuck you.”

Re: Bottas.. A win is a win I guess... I do get tired of his reference to “critics”.. Some of that criticism is probably well deserved... Also have to see how things go now that Hamilton has more points on his license... I’d be pissed too, especially now it seems the team said it was okay. No one mentioned that in the

How many F1 championships have you won?

I might ordinarily agree with you, but not on this. On racism he is the one person within motor racing that should be heard.

The “Politics of Racing” is, was, and shall always be Capitalism. You could even reasonably argue that motorsports is the Official Sport of Capitalism.

It’s okay. We all have opinions that are objectively wrong.

Someone signed a big Nike deal a year ago.

Prettier than a normal 812? Yep. Prettier than a Viper? I’m not sure. Prettier than some of the middle-generation Vipers, sure. Prettier than the latter day super-aggro Vipers? I can see it.
