well...i assume they were looking into it coz f1 has too many fucking rules

I dont usually respect Lewis that much for his personality and tendency to complain whenever hes not winning, but god damn if he didnt pull back all those respect points for this.

Oh fuck off with the no-true scottsman bullshit.  As a fan, it’s boring shit. An exception due to monza’s unique situation might make sense though.

I mean it worked fine in the past, and I don’t think it was any less entertaining, at least from my couch.

They’re slower than a customer car 🤣

I think that would be the only logical solution for Monza. Or, possibly even team qualifying so only two cars are on the track at once.

Yes, that was a mess, but DID YOU SEE HAMILTON’S LAP???  Do I have to say this every week?  My god, that was amazing, how’d he do that week after week?  Frank Williams once said how much he enjoyed watching the best drivers giving everything in qualifying, I totally agree, at this point, I’m just here to watch

I've already been grumbled at about suggesting this, but: single-car qualifying.

It wasn’t last year - it was ridiculous. A whole procession of drivers going so slow to avoid being in front that they didn’t get to set a time before the session finished.

Hamilton’s Q1 time on Mediums would make him P2 in Q3, that’s how far they are from the rest

Ferrari’s problems in qualifying weren’t a fluke due to a traffic jam. They lacked pace- plain and simple.

Eventually something was going to cost too much, the actors salaries, the per episode budget, etc. Hbo gives them so much for the entire season and that’s it.

Good for you, want a cookie? If you didn’t watch the show, why are you even in the comments section?

Nothing they say in this article about DND is false. The showrunners wanted spectacle and didn’t give a shit about where the show went, In later seasons, almost all the time and budget went towards the one battle sequence a season, nothing else. Earlier seasons entirely skipped battle sequences for a reason, there

“Men Who Can’t Read...”, “...they’d even insinuate they did not—or could not—read at all

There’s untold number of articles about how HBO wanted to keep throwing money and seasons at them, GoT wrapping up so hastily was THEIR choice, not some “budget” restriction.

I’m more worried they’ll get tired of their new toy before they finish telling the story, and once again they’ll shit the bed with a hasty, thoughtless wrap-up. Though at least in this case the creator of the story has actually wrapped it up, giving them a complete blueprint.

Don’t worry, they’ll be back to sing the show’s praises. And then back again after that to tell us why it sucks.

They ran out of time because B&W deliberately ran out of time. HBO famously wanted to go another season (or more), but those two chucklefucks were ooooover it and had honestly been kinda phoning it in for a while, and they wanted to waltz off to a big Star Wars [ha ha ha haaaa] or Lord of the Rings [ha ha fucking HA]

less useful.”
