Pedro Pascal is Wario.
Pedro Pascal is Wario.
Disney’s 100 years old. They were here before Ron and they’ll be here after Ron.
I think people have this vague idea of what a “good” Mario movie would/should look like. I doubt too many people have given much thought about it to the point that they could clearly communicate that vague idea.
Yeah, remember that Trump lost a presidential election (in which historically favors the sitting president) BEFORE setting off an insurrection at the Capitol.
“The plot for The Super Mario Bros Movie is paper-thin. Narratively, the characters are static bordering on inert; there’s no arc or growth to any of them. It’s just one action set piece to the next; your enjoyment is intimately tied to your pre-existing knowledge of these characters and your ability to recognize a…
Honestly, good. Just stop dragging out the obvious and officially end the Johnson project. Regardless of how you feel about TLJ, whether you loved it, hated it, or somewhere in between, both sides would benefit from going their separate ways. SW has plenty of content already. Rian Johnson is doing just fine, making…
I thought Trump was the worst but DeSantis takes the cake.
It’s part of the brand of macho conservatism he traffics in: he can’t concede or back down on anything, no matter how stupid, without looking “weak”. As soon as he picked the wrong battle he was painted into a corner.
They’re constantly voting against their own interests when they vote Republican so why not?
I’m not cheering for Disney’s success, I’m just celebrating Ron’s failures.
This is the best take I have seen so far. Everything is so polarized between those who want something to be good and those want it to fail, the only difference is everyone has a loud speaker for the world to hear. And worst, the various new sites run with twitter responses and reddit posts as if they are fact rather…
I think people disappointed about this movie being middle of the road children-focused fare are forgetting what the games are.
OK, I take back what I said above.
I mean... that’s Mario? He’s the safe, sanitized Mickey Mouse mascot made in a Nintendo lab. There hasn’t been an ambitious Mario game since maybe Super Paper Mario? And yeah, it’s a kids movie. There’s references and jokes that will make the parents chuckle, but that’s it.
People are talking like the Super Mario movie has to be the next Citizen Kane to be good and forget that its Mario. It was fun, enjoyable, light popcorn faire, which is all it had to be.
“Conversations in forums, chatrooms and public gaming sessions confirm that gamers are very conscious of the slightest changes in a game’s performance.24 As the highly confidential figure below shows, details such as crashes, freezes and glitches, as well as graphics and load times, have a significant impact on…
Sorry, this is just too funny. Sony is bitching about MS potentially doing the things Sony has been doing for years. Sony regularly spends millions to make sure the non-PS versions of games (including CoD) have less features and/or content than the PS versions. Or they just pay to have the Xbox versions delayed…
Sony’s just pissed there’s competition in the “pay for exclusivity” market. They hoard content for themselves and then complain when others try to do the same. “What’s mine is mine and what’s yours is mine!”
“Call of Duty gamers are passionate, knowledgeable, and sophisticated.”
