It’s been over 30 years since the previous “super mario” movie. You would think that so-called film critics these days would not be as “out of touch” as the average audience goer.

Just got back from taking my son to see it. It was fun, he was delighted, and I’m a hero for a day for letting him stay up late to go see a movie on a school night. The Yoshi egg made him smile.
