I think it depends on the size of the cast. With a larger ensemble, giving them all specialities gives me more reason to change up the party (or, when party-changes are forced on me, adapt my strategies). Flexibility in build is always welcome though, especially if there isn’t an optimal one.

I concur with your viewpoint on this matter.

I am notoriously lazy when it comes to in-depth RPG systems, so I prefer the game telling me what to do. Final Fantasy IX springs to mind as a good example of this.

Iron Fist S2 I think might be the only Netflix Marvel show where the back half was better than the first half. It almost totally redeemed the series for me.

Man my backlog goes back like 2 years.  This... This is backlog!  But seriously that sounds like a fun excuse to play some old classics (especially Contra which I have fond memories of playing growing up).  Are you emulating or are you straight up going old school hook ups into a CRT?

Yeah, agreed. It definitely doesn’t remotely look like a pork chop to me. Much more Flintstones-esque chicken or meat on the bone if anything.

As an Australian, this season may be slightly painful for me.

“If we get married, legally you can’t arrest me.” Oh Jason. At least Janet’s still there for you. Speaking of, her calling Michael daddy was very weird and I’m glad she realised it.

Hoo boy, looks like not even The Good Place is immune to the fact that no American has ever done an even passable Australian accent.

Glad to see it back but I’m going to struggle if we have to put up with too much Simone. Her Australian accent is terrible. It’s all over the place and it completely destroys what’s an otherwise flawless show. It’d be better off if they just had her speaking in her native english accent - hell, she keeps on slipping

now that’s what I call a ROM COM.

I think there certainly is an art to making random encounters: a way to avoid making the process feel like a joyless slog. The original Final Fantasy, for example, had its random encounters serve as one piece of a larger resource management game, as you tried to stretch your MP and items to last through a long dungeon

I don’t think they could really do Kamala’s powers on a network TV budget. The way I see it, now that Captain Marvel is going to be in the MCU they have the perfect in-road to get Kamala in the MCU as well.

She’s going straight to video.

/comfort on Ghouls ‘n Ghosts. Never made it far in those games. That series just seemed too attached to the old school S&M relationship between developer and player. Not that said relationship is terrible or anything; just not my style. “Now play through the game again whilst standing on one foot and singing the

Hey now, ain’t no reason to throw shade at Balloon Fight.

How in the hell is this not called Duck Cunt?

My name is Guybrush Threepwood, and I want to be a pirate!

Enchanter is indeed a good series, and IMO better than Zork.  Zork has its share of maddeningly opaque puzzles, arbitrary limits, and a vague story -- all things that Enchanter fixes.

Woooo! Great OST pick! The beginning of the music for Elec Man’s stage always reminds me of the old theme to Mask. Sec-ret raid-ers~~~ Mask-ed Cru-saders~~~
