I completely agree - the form factor of them was superb. My gripe with them vs. the 7/9 was that they were just soo ancient in architecture - the electrical system was more like the product of evolution than design, LOL. Crude but very worthy cars.

Creating the most reliable Chevy ever.

Oh man, can’t wait to see someone swap this into a Civic. Or even better, into a ‘57 Chevrolet.

Amazing that an instructor who relies on scared people to pay his salary would spread stories of how scary and dangerous the world is.

Once the thief has the pump, they’ll then use the original person’s still active transaction to pump gas for other drivers who pull into the station, in exchange for cash.”

I don’t want some half-assed “restomod”. I want a factory new one with a modern engine. Big difference from somebody’s project. The 8V is too slow, the turbo is adequately powered but too inefficient. The 16V is a bit too beta. Owned multiples of all of them back in the day, plus a 965 with the I6.

We keep acting like "pass the cost on to shippers/customers" is a bad thing.  This would actually let customers make better decisions seeing what the true cost is

Yes. True. But let’s also not ignore the fact that people are throwing these out the window?? Like just put a cap on it and dispose of it while you’re refueling. There’s no excuse for that behavior, corporations be damned. That’s a driver issue, not a company one. People, no matter their profession, don’t get a pass

Not exactly NEWs.

Dock taxes for personal vessels of a certain size and type that are not flagged in America?

Out of interest, why not knock on the door and ask? I imagine most enthusiasts would happily let you take pics in exchange for a copy. Then you can chat to them too. I would happily oblige someone knocking on my door but would be pretty pissed with someone coming onto the property to take pics without asking.
