It had made the journey a few other times, so the rating wasn’t really the issue. But the repeated descents must have weakened the hull, and this was the time it didn’t make it.

Looks like they are setting up a media scrum at 3PM EST. I’m guessing that they’ve mostly likely found the wreckage, or I don’t think they’d be perform a press briefing mid-day on a Thursday.
It beer canned and tore apart right at the hour 45 minute mark. They’ve all been dead since Monday.
Not enough hours to matter. Because its not like they would make that choice in the first hour that they had trouble.
Given that fathers were with sons, when a day goes by or two, without rescue, how many hours would those fathers gift to their sons?

The CEO was a huge massive idiot, and it’s clear that under his direction the company didn’t take safety as seriously as it should, but holy hell that’s an editorialized headline right there. It’s basically a blatant misrepresentation of what the guy said. Like I said before, even what he actually said should be…
What’s the old saying? Regulations are written in blood?

That’s interesting, my insurance actually got cheaper on my last renewal a few days ago, and I have several motorcycles. Though I am in San Diego, maybe not the hot bed that San Francisco is right now for claims.
