The headline says businesses got it wrong. How can a company/business get it right? Or, do we want all businesses/companies to ignore the holiday? This is a serious question. I saw a segment on the View where they were talking about a Juneteenth menu and it was pretty much like that company menu in this article. Every

I remember seeing a lot of T100's around, but now I only see one or two with the wheel wells eating their way up through the fenders. I’m sure they have 300k miles or so.

Mazda should be applauded for making an engine cover that’s easier to move out of the way. Sadly modern engine with plastic manifolds and cam covers and miles of wiring have become ugly messes best covered up.

Businesses around me allowed their parking lot to be used for a Juneteenth celebration. 1 person was killed and 21 others shot.

In Japanese, “Mi chi gan” means “sad box of despair”.

haven’t seen one on the east coast in a decade”

The U.S. dropped a nuclear bomb on North Carolina (iirc) and can’t find it. We all played fast and loose with nuclear stuff during the cold war and I’m amazed we’re all here still.

Sad story. Fuck that HOA bitch. But the last part where the towing company came through?  I could die now, because I think I’ve heard it all.  Kudos to them for doing the right thing.

Someone must have PTSD from stalling a manual on a hill. Or did your daddy yell at you because you couldn’t let the clutch out smoothly?

A balloon payment on a car? thats fucking insane. I didnt even realize a finance company would be that stupid to put it on a car

Triggered! I am a biomedical research scientist. My now ex-wife, married for 27 years, was so scientifically illiterate that any time any scientific topic would come up, she would just reflexively spout “The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell”. This once happened at a dinner with 2 Nobel laureates at the

Any boat isn’t going to be worth much more than scrap value if it’s underwater...

But I’m sure he knew how to square dance and that mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell. Thanks, American public education!

I can’t say I have seen a lot of bad loans but...

In his defense, it may hold its value after 8 years...

I have a buddy that did just that, he was very much a keeping up with the Joneses type. He went out and bought a new V6 Ram 1500 for around $30k, had it for about 5 months and visited his cousin who had just bought a Ram 1500 with a Hemi. A month later he rolls up to work in a Ram 1500 with a Hemi that he paid $50k

I’m delivering a 2019 Traverse to a customer in about 45 minutes to a young lady who will be rolling over 7,000 dollars to get out of her lease early.  It’s terrible, and it’s only being worsened by all these inflated book values. She will walk out of here owing 45,000 dollars for a car that was probably sold for 43k

Had a coworker who had something like a $500 a month loan on a FUCKING NISSAN VERSA. On top of that, the loan term was 72 MONTHS.

The “Buy Here Pay Her” places are always good for a laugh.
