I can’t help but automatically think of the 1998 S90 that my MIL picked up for $500. It was even the same color. Sadly, it was a $500 S90, which means that the interior was trashed - ripped seats, broken/missing switches, etc. - and it leaked/burned every fluid. The windows didn’t work, the cruise didn’t work, other

The extra clean engine bay makes me suspicious. You only do that to a $5000 car when you’re hiding the massive oil leaks.

Spelled “TRX” for Troglodyte Reactionary eXtremist.

when cars still had them

The tire placement is nothing compared to the inconvenience that another option listed on that page would have caused:

Why does it look like that boat trailer has caster wheels?

Damn, an All-Trac wagon with the manual!  That’s a find.

I’m thinking of a certain homophobic sterotype about Subaru owners.

“Teach her to leave me for a d*ke” being the subtext.

On a personal basis, we’re currently searching for a midsize with a manual for my wife. The GS is an unusual model that fits the bill, and Indy is roughly in the outer reaches of our search area, but I wouldn’t touch that hooned out piece of crap with a 10 foot pole. That makes me sad.

Target fixation is a bitch.

Please tell me you are kidding.

Sounds like a horribly complicated and finicky system that will need regular expensive maintenance but still won’t ever quite work right.  And even if it did, I don’t always want the same ideal temperature.

Looks overly complicated, extremely expensive, and completely unnecessary.

Put in some vents. Let cold air come out of them, and the people in the vehicle change the settings to suite their current desires.

Technology like this is unnecessary at best, terribly stupid most of the time. Furthermore articles drooling over this crap carries water for the full digitization and transformation of our vehicles into nightmare tech products.

Ouf, calm down. Jesus.

I didn’t say it was favorable to them. In fact I’m quite horrified that the school district may think of their families this way. However, logically, I think it’s the analogy they’re using to justify their decision.  Reading comprehension is key.

You are apparently unaware that many companies already offer significant price breaks on health insurance when people exercise, eat well, get regular checkups, etc.

You are also woefully ignorant about how weight loss works (or more importantly - doesn’t work). Fasting for 2 weeks will do more harm than good. Exercise

I got pulled over back in 2005 with two friends on our motorcycles. Passed an undercover statie in a purple Intrepid at 140+ Several miles later when we slowed he caught up. Wrote us up for 90-100 in a 65 because that’s how fast we were going when he caught up. Got the tickets tossed because there was no radar gun

Depends. My step-father’s sister married a highway patrolman. From what he said, they’d get orders from up high to write more tickets for lower speeding infractions to show that they were enforcing the law and promoting safer driving. It’s a pretty well known secret that most patrolmen here give people breathing room
