Not absurd, but definitely redundant. Which doesn’t invalidate the statement.

I don’t think I’ve ever cheered at the words “mass arrest” before.
I expected fifteen responses along the lines of “I like it” or “respect all builds.” Pleasantly surprised by the commentariat-wide gnashing of teeth.
I was saying the same a year ago, when everyone was ragging on them, calling them reactionaries and fools. I mean, I still mock Toyota for the hydrogen vehicles, but EVs are merely part of an answer.
It’s funny, I see 262s from time to time but 780s are non-existent.
Are you a bot or something?
If you send your kids to some sort of Christian school this is exactly what you signed up for. We thought of using a local christian school as the public school we were zoned for wasn’t exactly spectacular; one visit and a chat with the teachers convinced us otherwise.
Yes? I am mocking Tesla for targeting a very expensive, mostly useless truck at people lacking common sense. The Venn overlap of people dumb enough to want a Cybertruck and those who can afford one is very slim and consists mainly of youtubers/tiktokers. :D
Where? SF? In NYC I have seen two or three; in the Hamptons another couple. I don’t count ones parked/shown at Concours d’Elegances and fancy Cars & Coffees. I want them to succeed but they are nearly completely invisible here.
I had a sudden epiphany the other day, when my brain pretended like we were 20 years into the future and talking about the “EV Bubble” the way we refer to the “Dot.com Bubble” and the “Housing Bubble” nowadays. I hope my brain is wrong; it has happened before.
These are things for Tesla to have taken into consideration, not me!
This is significant, because “kid brother” is the CybErtRUck’s target audience.
If someone asks me to buy a Hummel figurine that is worth $60 and I offer them $10, because I don’t really want it, what’s the problem? Don’t sell it.
Not that weird, but FUN! A late-seventies’ Polski-Fiat 125p Pickup with a souped up Fiat Twin Cam engine, rather than the original’s ancient OHV unit. It had previously belonged to a Fiat mechanic, but was used as the garbage truck at the greek hostel/commune where I worked for a few summers. I was always volunteering…
The comments on the Root were becoming utterly pointless, though - four-five people who sounded like Republican “black activist “ plants, forty-fifty racist trolls, and pretty much no one else.
No real comment, but thanks for using my Stelvio photo and thanks for crediting. I really tried to capture the weirdness of those mirrors. I also got to sit inside of it, but I was too excited to check whether or not I could see them very well.
Seconded, except we live in a litigious society. I took my kid to the dangerous playgrounds in Berlin, I drive a car with no airbags. I do rope access work as part of my job - and I am extremely safety conscious for that part.
Uh, no - JDM means Japanese Domestic Market. When someone puts a JDM sticker on their Toyota Sienna or Hyundai Elantra, it’s just embarrassing.
This feels a bit like we are being trolled.
Neither cool, nor unusual except in terms of the transmission. It may be a useful car though, and one that appeals to someone with a few BaT vehicles already. But still it is seriously harming BaT to list cars like this. Figure out a way to contract with dignity instead.
