I do that sometimes, but only to tell jokes. But you are absolutely right, with the correct delivery people will swallow just about anything. As an example, I had my whole office believing that test tube babies don’t have navels for a day or two.

I can’t really be too upset about this; weather is weather and this is surely not the first time it has rained excessively at Spa.

I love that the “FOCUS” jig is idiot proofed enough to have the lettering molded into it, indicating which letter goes where.

It’s a bit like watching Benny Hill. Although Clarkson’s Farm showed a somewhat different side of him; not so much in how he was acting but in the overall gist of the thing.

Word. Racing was always 50% machinery and 50% sport; this is what I like about it.

The question was regarding deezler’s comment that “A new buyer of your used car is allowed to drive the car home, and/or then to DMV, with no plate.”

There is no functional government here, it’s just more scams. You will get the same vibes conversing with people from Nigeria or Bangladesh - but at least those guys would (usually) like to live in a well-governed country, whereas here they celebrate their dysfunction.

I only ever encounter sketchy sellers; the buyers have all been okay.

Is that in every state? I always do the same (NY), assuming that the cops will set me free as long as I have documents and insurance, but it would be nice to know that it is enshrined in law.

Gendarmes drink wine, they don’t eat pastries. The Paris police used to own their own bars and were famous for the quality of their wine cellars.

Any company which uses that swoopy car silhouette design is not to be trusted with anything whatsoever.

Except, as has been pointed out 500 times already, it was a private sale (by a salesman on dealership property, shady AF).

We had several bids not accepted recently in Queens, but the houses remain on the market or are no longer being shown (but are still listed). Together with a lot of talk of rising interest rates this gives me a modicum of hope for a saner housing market.

I had to take drug tests for a period and had the same exact thing happen. The bagel was great, but it wasn’t worth having to go to three additional months of drug testing. Which is nothing like being disallowed from breast feeding your baby (they did that to my wife, because she had run a slight temperature during
