Lucky indeed. My average speed in NYC this week (eastern Queens to Harlem, pretty much straight across this guy’s supposed hunting grounds) was 13.8 mph.

Just provide some kind of in-car video game where the driver gets virtual candy for staying in their lane, keeping to the right, not running over pedestrians etc.

I daily drive to Harlem from the western edge of Long Island, and I also drive to numerous job sites. Along with weekend trips, I almost never break 300 miles per week, and I spend at least four hours behind the wheel every day. It’s hell.
