...and a massive problem with the sanctions is that it makes the mullahs more entrenched. Nowadays, the only way to survive in Iran is by playing along with the religious leadership, who are able to control people as they control the economy.

Bernie is definitely the best candidate (and the only one who will see the color of my money), but I will be thrilled to vote for Sanders in the primary if that’s the way the wind blows. And I’ll vote for any one of them in the election, even (gag) Biden.
