I think it varies depending on airline/plane. I’ve definitely had some that completely changed the height and angle of the table when someone reclined.

We don’t actually know that he cheaped out and went for basic economy and got stuck in the last row. It’s possible he booked late and that was the only seat available. *shrugs*

Yeah, saying you’re not using the space is completely false. For anyone of a decent height (or are overweight), the person reclining in front of them has the following impacts: reduces leg room, lowers the height of the tray table, which can be problematic for those of us with longer legs, moves the tray table closer Read more

My wife, who routinely goes blonde swears by 2 things. One is the Joico purple stuff to prevent brassiness. The other are Olaplex products, used both at the salon during the dye process, and their shampoo/condition/hair care stuff for after to prevent her hair from doing the things hair naturally wants to do when you Read more

Yeah I get that, but if we’re throwing in rotisserie chicken and boursin, let’s step up the hot sauce too.

When I was younger, my family would try to hit up the Rainforest Cafe when we would go to Disneyland. It was a nice way to get out of the heat for awhile and relax in the themed air conditioning. The food is probably better than it should be. However, if you really want to go all in on the experience, get yourself Read more

Yep, I was flying out of India one time, and mobile ticketing wasn’t available, and I managed to set my boarding pass down on a counter at the end of the security inspection. If I hadn’t needed it when I was trying to get in the airport lounge, I probably wouldn’t have realized it was missing until it was time to Read more

Apple would probably ship a USB-C to USB-A cable anyway. It just wouldn’t charge as quickly as USB-C to USB-C or USB-C Power Delivery.

None of that sounds great. It doesn’t sound terrible (though I don’t think we needed more Finn/Rose team-ups while keeping them split from Rey and Poe again, but nothing in the cliff notes of that script make me think it would have been better than what we got.

Gervais was great. *shrug*. His brand of humor may not be for everyone, but for people that like his style, his monologue was extremely funny. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are hilarious as well; their style is just very different. I appreciate them all and think they’ve all done great jobs in their hosting duties, just in Read more

I think it’s just mainly that the profession of acting has historically been split along gender norms; hence “actor” and “actress”. But there is no other pronoun used for the profession of directing films, so I don’t think anyone has really thought to split that up as well. I’d be more interested if they went the Read more
