Honestly, the only two films in the franchise worth watching are the original 2007 film and Bumblebee. The others are all mediocre at best (Rise of the Beasts) and absolute garbage at worst (Last Knight).

McDonalds has been such a disappointment since the start of the pandemic. Eliminating all day breakfast (while Jack in the Box and others still have it), eliminating salads (while plenty of other fast food chains have them), not bringing back the wraps, etc.

Del Taco beats Taco Bell on the fact that they offer decent fish and shrimp tacos during most of the year. And their fries and burgers aren’t bad either, considering it’s a place called Del Taco. The new birria menu items were solid (wish they had been permanent). Plus they have street tacos, and their shakes are

I want to meet the people that loved the churros. They were mediocre at best. The only good things about them were the size and the price. You’re better off buying a box of Tio Pepe Churros (the brand used at Disneyland) and cooking them in your oven. They are infinitely better.

I didn’t mean it in a way that implies ITM is incorrect in this instance. I know it’s true. ITM is just a trash website and nobody should ever be encouraged to visit them. There were a million different sources on this particular topic, and ITM is the worst.

I’m aware of the irony, though I’d argue that ITM is operating on an entirely different level.

In the future, please don’t cite Inside the Magic as a source. They are an abhorrent site who traffic in nothing but clickbait and sensationalism.

And often, Trader Joe’s. There are still private label items that are really just pre-packaged white label products made by the bigger brands, it’s just hard to know what they are.

Mario is a republican moron and should be ignored every time he opens his mouth on societal issues.

The reason it “feels like” inflation is higher is solely because of corporate greed. Inflation isn’t at record breaking levels, and has receded quite a bit compared to earlier in the covid/post covid world, but retailers are still continuing to jack up prices to the tune of record profits, all while blaming

I wish they would stop putting American cheese slices in their tacos and just add some damn shredded cheese.

Had a buddy that worked at Starbucks for years, and he said the drinks Baristas hated to make the most were Fraps. Not because they were inherently more complicated than any other Starbucks drink, but because of the location of blenders on the back counters took them out of their rhythm and slowed down the entire

I have never understood the open fridge/freezer design that many stores utilize. That has to be the most inefficient and wasteful way of cooling anything, right? Like, imagine if you just left your fridge and freezer doors open 24/7 at home. I don’t even understand how designs like that ever made it to market however

IIRC from when I lived near a Kroger, the sushi was made on site. I can’t speak to the quality of the ingredients (or the pay for employees), but I don’t think it was pre-packaged and shipped to stores.

Agreed on the conveyer belt self checkouts. Good in theory if you have another person with you to help bag, but it’s more efficient to use the standard self checkout style when you are by yourself because you can actually reach the bagging area after scanning so you can bag as you go.

No, nothing wrong with either of those things, but as a customer it’s frustrating when you have a handful of items and you’re stuck behind someone taking significantly longer because the store has chosen to close out all the self checkout terminals.

That’s what drives me nuts about Ralphs (and I assume, by extension, Kroger). They’ll have self checkout sections on either side of the store, but typically only have one side open because they don’t want to staff another employee on the 2nd side. And some newer setups have more bagging space, but most don’t. And then

I’d add McDonalds and Chick-Fil-A to this list as well. Points accrue fairly quickly and redeemable for a large variety of items.

The Orange Cream is the one thing I really wish they’d bring to Disneyland. Tropical Hideaway has all sorts of flavors throughout the year, but never Orange Dole Whip and never the Vanilla swirl option.

Not exactly the same, but I’m a big fan of Trader Joe’s White Cheddar Corn Puffs. It’s like if you took White Cheddar Popcorn and gave it just a hint of the flavor/texture of Kellogg’s Corn Pops cereal.
