My guess is the scenario (and outcome) of the car flip will be completely different in the film than what happened in real life, with the car flipping being the only similarity.

Yeah, totally agree with you on the first film. At this point it almost feels like a completely different cinematic universe compared to 4-6.

I would have the original film much lower in my list. Not that it wasn’t good, but tonally it’s much different than 3-6 (haven’t seen 7 yet, obviously), and the action not nearly as good. Felt a little cheesier too. My rankings from worst to best so far would be 2, 1, 3, 4, 5, 6.

Yeah, for my older P series from 2016, I had to eventually get a Chromecast with Google TV. I held out for a long time, because I liked the fact that casting was built in (and the native apps more than covered my subscribed services), and that I didn’t have to use an HDMI input for a separate device, but the interface

It’s also hard to beat their prices. It’s not going to win awards over good local places (like you said), but when you can get 2 topping mediums for $6.99 and 1 topping larges for $7.99, that’s cheaper than buying name brand frozen pizzas at the grocery store now, and probably at least half of what you’ll pay at a

I genuinely feel bad for people that suffer from the genetic condition that causes cilantro to taste like soap, because it’s so damn good, and so essential to so many dishes.

Supposedly you can order it by itself if you order in person (register or drive thru), but only the meal is available for order through the mobile app, which is super annoying.

Matrix Resurrections was terrible, even with a really strong cast. Ghostbusters Afterlife was fun. I mostly agree with the rest of the list.

The Series and Movies links are now at the top of the homepage, not the left menu bar like it was previously with HBO Max. Threw me off for a sec as well. No clue why they decided to alter the layout/UI.

The odd thing was the inconsistency of it all. On my iphone, opening up the HBO Max app pushed me to the app store to download the Max app. It autologged me in on first open. On my Vizio TV, the native app just updated to Max. Both scenarios were fairly seemless, but I don’t know why they chose to create an entirely

Yeah, I mean that thought crossed my mind as well. But if we’re willing to pilot armed military drones remotely, surely the security and encryption exists to make something like this safe and secure, even if it means only utilizing government/military employees/pilots and not allowing the airlines themselves to

Serious question. If military drones can be piloted remotely, is there a technical or logistical reason that this functionality can’t be built into commercial jets in case of emergencies like the ones described? Couldn’t the FAA or Air Force or whoever have some fully trained pilot sitting in a room somewhere waiting

Same. I have a Fire HD 10, and I pretty much just use it to throw a few movies on for flights/trips. Gets the job done, and it was super cheap, so no complaints.

Now you need to do a taste test of Auntie Anne’s vs Wetzels. There are the obvious direct comparisons for original ,unsalted, cinnamon, almond, pepperoni, dog bites, pretzel bites, etc. But, Wetzel’s should also still be selling Jalapeno Pretzels (along with plain cheese, and jalapeno/pepperoni).

Now find yourself a Coffee Bean and try their Cookie Butter Ice Blended. Puts any Starbucks Frap flavor to shame.

I will never understand the thought process behind releasing something on a streaming service before a physical release. Unless you really don’t want to subscribe, or you really feel like you HAVE to own a physical copy, where is the incentive for most people to buy it on UHD/Blu Ray when you can just watch it on

I get waiting in line at the actual Nintendo store if it means exclusive merch or freebies. But imagine waiting in line at Gamestop in this day and age of online preorders and store pickups from places like Target or Best Buy, or just getting it delivered on release day from somewhere like Amazon. Just wild, haha.

Might as well just sneak in store brand candy at that point.

Wait, seriously? I used to go to the location in Burbank all the time. What a bummer.

I am curious why the fried pies could only be held for 15 mins. That seems extremely short.
