I get where you are coming from, but I also it the other way. When I share my personal aversion to non-natural ingredients (especially when it comes to my diet,) I am often met with hostility, as if the choices I make for myself are some sort of negative commentary on the way they live. Nobody is accusing you of being

That is not a discussion. That is your declaration that you refuse to hear any discussion on the matter.

I for one am not going to throw shade. I try to not put anything unnatural in or on my body...if I don't find it fit for eating, I am certainly not going to slather my skin in it (big hippie here, I make my own soap and shampoo, don't wear makeup, don't use hair products). So yeah, I feel you.

Question: Is Yeast Vegan?

Bats: the brussel sprouts of the animal kingdom.

Way to give this horrific story a reason to smile in the end! Lily is a lucky girl!

YES. Worlds different and so nom.

Hot mulled wine with honey or hot mulled cider with brandy. The soup of the day is whiskey.

I grew up on video games, but I wasn't really impressed with the early open-ended skill games like Breakout or Pac Man. Then I got my paws on my first RPG, the original Phantasy Star on the Master System; I quickly became a video game addict. So hate all you want, but my Master System will always hold a special place

I agree with coconutpocky...feminism is all about having the choice. Without that choice, not taking the man's name or doing the proposal yourself would just be a different set of standards being foisted upon us due to our gender. I celebrate your choice, and I can see myself choosing the same in the future if I ever

Spike proved he had a soul by sacrificing himself in the last episode. Still breaks my heart. Team Spike 4eva!

Not to say that either of you guys are mental or anything, but I have learned that pack rats/hoarders and neat freaks are two different sides to the same anxiety disorder coins. I know other families that are the same way: some of these folks keep spartan or extraordinarily clean and organized homes while their

Cyndi Lauper has been my hero since I was a little girl, right from her "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" days. I credit her for my mostly oddball style. My god, she still looks amazing. Love you, Cyndi!

I weep for the women in your life.

My IUD wasn't covered at all by my (otherwise pretty solid) insurance. To get one from my PCP, they wanted $750, up front. I was able to get one at Planned Parenthood for only $425, which was much less expensive, but still a huge chunk of change for me.
