My thoughts exactly...whether or not he was technically guilty of murder there's no question that Zimmerman directly caused Martin's death. Why celebrate him?

I'm fairly certain millions are mourning today. Your statement is false.

Thank you for putting this up. A lot of commentary and discussion seems to forget that a kid lost his life and his family are the ones who need support in grief and fury the most.

What gets me about this is the total unwillingness to acknowledge that an innocent teenage boy is dead because George Zimmerman was a complete fuck up of a human being.

Ugh, and so many ignorant Facebook postings about this. "It's too bad everyone has to bring racism into this." It's already in it! Nobody is injecting racism into anything that wasn't already about racism. Good God.

When I imagine hell, there isn't fire or brimstone. Satan doesn't look like a horned demon. There is only Ann Coulter and Fred Phelps holding hands and smiling at you.

Why even give these ass clowns another platform to display their hate?

I'm done. If this was a black guy in the EXACT same circumstances they'd...wait. he'd already be in jail on murder charges. Stand Your Ground given the racialized nature of Florida's politics and police is basically for whites only. Can you imagine any scenario in which a black man could stalk, harass, and shoot in

Dear Beebermom: Your son pissed in a bucket that some low wage worker had to empty out and clean before being able to mop the floors in the restaurant. Instead of apologizing to the low wage worker, the kitchen workers, and the restaurant, he apologized to Bill Clinton for squirting cleaning fluid on his photo. Your

This is what I needed this morning.

Good fucking god, people. One person pointing out the error is enough.

Not only were Lea and Cory together for a long time, they were actually engaged and planning to get married in two weeks. My heart breaks for her.

I fell asleep angry and sad and confused over the Martin verdict, and woke up to this. I haven't been a fan of the show since the first season but I burst into tears. Even if you live to 100, life is short. It's so, so short. There's no time for violence and drugs and politicking others choices and rights. Love

It's a mental illness, probably the most stigmatized of all of them.

You're an asshole. Seriously, dude. Find a way to deal that doesn't consist of you emotionally abusing your poor, pregnant wife who did nothing wrong. And your kid's biological father is white? Am I reading this right?

I am half white/ half Mexican and my (white) mom kind of took the road you want to take with your baby. She taught us to self identify as Mexican and be very mistrustful of white people, most of all her family who pitched a royal fit when she wanted to marry a Mexican. In the end she taught us to be very prejudicial

As a fellow white woman and a Floridian, I didn't need to be reminded of that, but, um, gee, thanks.

It was pretty much guaranteed from the beginning, because Trayvon committed the worst crime one can commit in America:
